Alpine Corporation - 3100 GPH Submersible Water Pump with 33 FT Cord for Ponds, Fountains, Waterfalls & Water Circulation – Energy-Efficient, Quiet Operation, Vertical/Horizontal Use

I've purchased numerous pond pumps for over 20 years, including 14 from Amazon. Vivosun and Aqua Pulse are the worst, stopped working within months. Pumps from Home Depot and Lowe's work for about 1 year. Alpine is, by far, the best, with beautiful blue frame and last a long time. Alpine 3100 purchased in June 2020 stopped in 2024. Alpine 10000 purchased in June 2020 still works, but only half as strong as when new so I keep it as a backup. The two Alpine 8000 purchased in July 2021 are still working flawlessly. Note: Sometimes, Alpine stops working so I unplugged and cleaned out whatever clogged them, waited for about 10 minutes and plugged back in. Usually, they'd restart immediately but sometimes, I'd walk away and when I come back 30 minutes later, I'd discover that they're working flawlessly again for up to a year without issues.

Been running for just over a year now, submersed in the water, including winter Washington DC area. This past winter had a few multiday, up to a week below freezing. Zero issues.6 foot high water fall, almost 2 feet below water surface, been pumping great the whole time. I did make the effort to put it into a mesh bag (lots of earthworms get stuck in the bag mesh (so weird).I did intially try to run it out of the water, but priming the pump was a pain.very happy with my choice

I purchased the Alpine 3100 pond pump May of last year and it failed this year. Called Support. They were on the problem and replaced it within two weeks this is simply amazing, works great and I would recommend this pump over and over again. I am extremely happy with it.

The PAL 2100 pump has plenty of power to lift water about 4 feet and fill a weir to feed a 18 inch wide waterfall while keeping operating costs reasonable. This is my second Alpine Pump. The first pump lasted 6 years of operating continuously for about 6 months out of the year. I purchased a second one and was surprised to see a 5 year warranty on the website while the manual and box state the pump has a 3 year warranty. I contacted Alpine and they recently changed their policy for the PAL series to now have a 5 year warranty. This review was left in June of 2024.

Had an issue with the 3500 pump, called customer service and they were prompt and concerned about my issue, kudos to their team for sending me a replacement and as I mentioned, fast and courteous

The pressure, power, suction, and noise level are all great BUT I cannot justify buying one per year, two years in a row on the exact same month. This pump is way too expensive to be replacing once a year. My suggestion if you choose to purchase this unit, buy the insurance so you can have it replaced at no charge.

I guess I should know better to talk to Amazon. Amazon will not support when you buy items from a 3rd party nor will they tell you about warranty, so i called Alpine corp, after explaining to them the problem, it took 5 min for them to send me a new pump.If you buy from a 3rd party don't call Amazon for support call the original vendor. Great job Alpine.

I purchased this pump May 2022 and it has been running strong for 3 years. Powerful pump, no complaints.
