Daytime Shooting Star, Vol. 1 (Volume 1)

So frustrating, I was looking forward to reading this and I wanted to enjoy this so much more than my three star rating.Ok positives, the art style is gorgeous and is one of my favourite things about this. Another favourite is Suzume our leading lady, shes cool to follow, not the typical student, she can be so docile and shy but also passionate, strong willed and incredibly loyal. Her uncle Yukichi is a refreshing side character. Mr Shishio had some useful comments and helped along Suzume through some tough situations.Sorry for this, now the negatives. Apart from Suzume and her uncle, none of the other characters really stood out to me. The plot line seems quite same old, girl who fakes being a friend to get closer to the guy, the fast developed feelings for someone you shouldn’t like, hoped it would be more of a slow burner over time.Might try volume two to see if it gets any better.

Love this manga! Very addictive and has the sweetest characters! A must read romance manga

Honestly, I bought this because it is just such a great story and the art style is lovely. You can easily find this translated online already but it feels great to have a physical copy as well. Must read!

This is my favourite series and I can't wait for the rest to come out!The art style is gorgeous, the story itself is both relaxing and gripping at the same time, and characters are all so loveable. Seriously, give it a read.
