They never let go!
I needed a way to attach some things to the exterior of my RV for a cross-country trip and didn't want to drill into the body. These babies worked great - I attached them and they stayed attached for about 2 months so far. I used them in 2 places: 1) as supplemental support for a bumper-mounted scooter rack on the back of the RV and 2) to hold a large, soft-sided luggage bag to the top of the RV. I would check them every day to see if they lost grip, but they never required pumping or re-attachment. I highly recommend these beasts!

Heaven
The media could not be loaded. I am definitely using this for an unintended purpose. However, I am extremely happy with this purchase. I am using it to sand smaller objects that are hard to hold. Instead of cramping up my hands and sanding off my fingertips, this suction cup has a nice handle to hold onto, and works extremely well grabbing and releasing the objects that I'm sanding. Highly satisfied. Will buy again.

So far so good
Nice little sucker. Worked well, pulled good vacuum. Using it for camera mount on glass and held camera with no problem. Like all suction cups if the surface has irregularities that allow air to leak past the seal, it will not hold for long. This one is no different. Have not had long so no determination as to how long rubber suction cup will last.

Thread is actually M8x1.25
As others have said, these are not 5/16-18 thread. I used my thread checker tool and determined they are M8x1.25. Not a big problem for my application but I have to deduct at least 1 star for inaccurate item description. Otherwise they seem fairly well built. Will follow up after a few months of use.

Fit and finish look great
Bought a pair of 3” units for a project and although it’s not fully assembled yet, I think these will work perfectly. Much better than the last sticky suction cups I tried.

Used this item to replace suction cups on my wakeshaper to get a better surf wake on a boat
I bought a wakeshaper to get a better surfing wake on my 07 supra 22ssv. It was a rosewell wakeshaper and when I bought it I tried it out several times. Never would stick for longer than 4 or 5 min. constantly popped off during runs or at the start. I put it away for years. My father in law recently looked at it and told me to replace the suctions. I started looking and came across these. I attached them on the same plates that are already on the shaper. These things stick and don't come off! I attach when my boat already has ballast full so the whole suction cup is under water. Still they suction down and don't move. I put it on once and it stays in place the whole time im riding. I do check if the redline is showing after a run is done. Some cases I have to pump it once or twice but again it doesn't slip. if you use these for a wakeshaper make sure they are on a flatest part of the boat and as low as you can get them. The lower on the hull the better. Hope this helps someone making a shaper or replacing the suctions on a shaper.

Compare to Woods
OK, not sure if its been done yet, but if you're like me you're wondering about how these compare to Woods, so here is my comparison. These are not bad, work well, seem to be made OK. The problem is the threads, I'm not sure what they are, but nothing really fits and has to be forced in there. I tried 5/16 coarse and fine and M8x1.25 and nothing went on easy and had to be forced, which is not cool. I'm not worried as I will just rethread which will be easy. Woods are much more clean and instill much more confidence. The rubber is the other thing you notice different, the Woods has a much more pliable rubber, these are more plastic and stiff. Both work well, but the Woods is what I am going to use when I need to be sure its going to hold and I feel the Woods will last a lot longer. Dinging it a star for the lesser rubber and one for the threads.

customer service was awesome and suction cup holds
The suction cup worked great on a variety of surfaces from smooth to crinkly we use it most in our rv so we do not have to put nails or screws in the walls. Most recently we also purchased the 3 inch models to put up motion detector lights on the outside of our trailer they worked great. We had one problem with the and the plunger mechanism but the customer service responded quickly and got me out a new one that was great .
