So, I really don't love writing reviews as sometimes a product ends up not being what it was in the beginning, but I have to say I have been looking for a silicone brush for a while that really was easy to use and more importantly easy to clean and move from savory to sweet and vice versa and not have strange flavor left behind. Ok that was a long sentence. I love this tool! I bought two by mistake and said well hopefully I like it. I gave the other one to my mom and I know she will enjoy it. I have been a chef a long time and for almost 8 years for a major appliance company where I talk up products by companies I don't work for and this will be added to my list during my cooking demos. This is a cool, easy to carry, easy to clean and easy to use product. I even used it on my awesome new cast iron pan and it didn't burn on that super-hot surface like so many in the past. Great price too!!!

I love this baster because it is easy to use and does the job, but most importantly, it is easy to clean. Traditional nylon bristle brush basters are very difficult to remove all traces of basting sauce from between the bristles. This Starpack battery is easy to clean between the silicone bristles, leaving the brush completely clean. In addition, the silicone bristles do not fray or break off like nylon bristles do.

I've purchased several products from StarPack and use them almost daily. I purchased several about 2 or 3 yrs ago and they still look brand new, wash well and get the job done. I continue coming back for more from them whenever I new to add to my accessories. Great quality and I highly recommend them.

It's very small. If you have large hands this may be uncomfortable for you to use. It has a very short handle. For something that took 3 weeks to deliver I was hoping it'd be a bit nicer. However, its heat resistant to 480 degrees and dishwasher safe. Though you CANNOT put it in the microwave because beneath the silicone the handle is steel. O tired it out yesterday and it worked very well. The short handle wasn't even a big issue.

We need to talk about basting.Oh, the pleasures of basting! I often baste twice a day. Sometimes I even baste while company is over. Remember, basting is natural. Everyone bastes at least some point in their life. Sometimes I put on loud music and baste like my life depended on it. Other times I baste to relieve stress. Once, someone basted with me. We had a grand time!This basting brush is sturdy and does the job. I highly recommend it for all your basting needs. Just put it in the dishwasher after a feverish basting session and it will be good as new!

The brush is the right size for many jobs in the kitchen and its one-piece design makes it easy to clean, very important. Nice dark gray color which won't show any staining.

This was a purchase to replace a similar silicone brush that got lost in a recent move. The brush has several good qualities that I like in a basting brush:- The bristles, head, and handle are one unit (no head insert, bristles won't pull out).- The four-layer bristles hold BBQ sauce well (I use this brush primarily for basting BBQ sauce onto meats).- Easy cleanup with a little dishsoap and warm water.The only downside (very slight) is the length of the handle when I'm using it over an outdoor BBQ where the temps can be a bit rough for an un-gloved hand.Recommended.

This is a great product.. the reason I did not rate it a 5 all the way is that I feel it is too short. All the rest of the products fit above my container but this one sits below and is hard to find!
