I had been considering buying a new lap top because my current Lenovo does not have USB-C. I was sceptical that using the HDMI and VGA ports would be good enough. But I was wrong. Apart from a lower quality screen res for the VGA screen it works really well. Worked straight out of the box. No tricky configuration and the screen assigmnent in Windows 10 works a treat. Good product, easy to use. Only minor issues is what a number of reviews have highlighted - the USB cable is very short. Other than that - great.

I use this as a docking hub to support my two monitors. I've found that it sometimes disconnects everything that is connected i.e. the screens and my mouse. It re-connects/comes back on about 10 seconds later, but can be quite frustrating when you're gaming.When it does work though, it's great, works as designed and looks good too.

This adapter made my day! I purchased a different adapter before buying this one and unfortunately it didn't work for me. So, I got this Wavlink usb3 and, I was able to setup a four monitors (3 external + the laptop screen) in total, and all works great!I am using a Lenovo ideapad 330S and I was able to connect two monitors using the adapter HDMI/VGA ports connected to the usb3 port on the left side of the laptop, plus an additional monitor connected straight into the HDMI port available on the laptop it-self.The only cons it the lenght of the adapter cable, really short.

Successfully linked my PC to two monitors using this unit. Note that there is only on HDMI and one VGA port so make sure your monitors have the appropriate connections. Lead from the device to the USB connector for the PC is also very short so the device has to sit right next to the computer.

I had such high hopes for this given the other reviews, but sadly it was not to be. Running my keyboard, mouse and monitor through the hub (not an unreasonable load, I thought) produced a high-pitched whining noise every few seconds.Thinking maybe the hub just needed power and was overloaded, I tried powering the unit, but it made no difference.Functionally the hub works brilliantly; everything is connected and working, no discernible drop in quality on the monitor - but with the unbearable noise it will have to be returned. So disappointing!(The usb cable from hub to laptop is also ridiculously short, an extension is required if your laptop is anywhere other than completely flat on your desk.)

Quickly ran out of ports and the connecting cable is impractical. OK if you want something very compact and don't need a lot of connection options.

Worked straight out of the box. No fuss connectING my big monitor with the laptop and so useful that there are 2usb ports on it.

These are great bits of kit when you're working from home and need to have that little bit more connectivity than some laptops give you. We have bought several of these to enable laptops to connect at least one additional monitor and Ethernet connection. Small and reliable, the only problem is the short USB connection cable. If you have your laptop on an angled cooling stand the cable is a little short and sort of dangles form the USB port. This is easily solved with a small USB 3.0 extension cable but a pain none the less.
