Dyson Ball Animal 3

Great bye. This vacuum was more expensive but the others that we bought that were half the cost broke after months of abuse. This one has the suction power to literally clean your carpet to death. We love it.

This is our 2nd Dyson dc25 animal they are great vacuums.

Dyson is my favorite product totally worth the money and great suction!

We bought this vacuum which was suppose to be in good condition. The vacuum wasn’t even close to good. The roller brush as a deep gash that ran all through it was if a large rock or item had been previously sucked up. The roller brush would only spin half the time. When we first got it we went to click the handle on and the whole bracket to hold the handle on was broken. The motor was very weak most likely due to the large item that seems to be sucked up in the roller damage. You could smell a burning scent when you turned the vacuum on. The outside of the vacuum was completely scuffed up. This vacuum was in terrible condition and should not have been sold. When I filed for return on this item, I received a message from the seller that they had inspected and tested this item before they shipped it. There is no way this vacuum was tested as you couldn’t even keep the handle on without gluing it on. My first and last time from buying from this seller. I am still awaiting my refund for this product and very much hope they will make it right.

Well, I have had a Dyson canister vacuum for 0ver 8 years now and it has gotten a lot of usage. Dyson told me that my canister vacuum was really not intended for as much use as I gave it with all the cat hair and bird feathers we have in our household. So i decided it was time to upgrade to an upright that was touted to be perfect for pet owners. This Dyson was interesting to put together but between the online manual and videos, it was relatively easy to put together.So then came the 1st test. I ran the vacuum over our area rugs and was astonished at the amount of cat hair and birdie feathers it digested without a hick-up. I was even more surprised when I looked at the beater brush. It was amazingly clean of tangled cat hair! It looks like this one really does self-clean the hair from the main cleaning attachment. I don't know what I'm going to do with all the extra time I used to spend picking out the hair tangles from the roller! But I'm happy to get the opportunity to find out....The machine is a bit pricy, but, given the endurance of my still working canister vacuum, I'm sure I will have it for many years. On a side Dyson has always provided great support and I can tell you that the best thing you can do is to wash those filters as instructed every month or two depending on the amount of house you are cleaning. You know you've messed up when the vacuum starts "taking short breaths" instead of providing suction. You will get that issue as the filter get in need of replacement but sooner than if you are religious about washing the 2 filters monthly. Those filter's aren't exactly cheap so worth the time.

I already have a Dyson Pet 3 but wanted one upstairs so I didn’t have to take it up and down the stairs. Dog hair does not wrap around roller. It captures the Golden Retriever hair from my 2 dogs so well. It maneuvers well on floors and carpet. Dyson Pet 3 is a quality vacuum even though it’s not the most expensive Dyson.
