Just the ticket for a preschooler interested in counting to twenty
Our 3.5-year-old grandson who has speech delay has recently been inspired to learn and say the letters of the alphabet and the numbers--first from one to five, then to ten, and then, soon thereafter, to twenty. Within a short period of time, just a few weeks, we got him a couple of different sets of magnetic ABC's, and then a couple of wood puzzles with the letters in order. He was thrilled with them and over a short period of time became more and more comfortable with speaking out loud as he named the letters he was placing in the puzzles. At this point I looked around for a good-quality but reasonably-priced Numbers puzzle. This Baby Rock Numbers Puzzle looked like just the thing, and indeed, it has been a huge success. The bright colors, the clear font, the fact that the puzzle goes up to twenty--all of these details contribute to the attractive appearance and the overall serviceability of the puzzle. Like any wooden puzzle, it would benefit from having some sort of cover to minimize loss of the individual pieces--maybe someday manufacturers will try such an idea. Meanwhile, the numbers are easy for a preschooler or toddler to manipulate, and it has been a joy to hear our young grandson sounding forth his counting all the way up to twenty!I think this puzzle would be great for any child who is interested in puzzles or numbers or both. And the quality is excellent.

Great quality
Honestly this is such a good quality puzzle. I have the Hape large letter puzzle and it’s better than that one. Now Hape is non toxic and I’m not sure how this one compares but visually and feel it’s better.

2 year old autistic son loves this
My 2 year old non verbal autistic son is interested in numbers and letters and loves this puzzle. He does mix up some letters at first but he's getting better. The "o" is an odd shape being wider. I always take it down and supervise him with it though because some letters are small enough for him to wedge into his mouth when he's feeling experimental and molars hurting.

Really like this
My son is 2 years old and adores playing with this. He previous had an alphabet one and really enjoyed playing with it as a puzzle and asking me what the letters were. He loves this just as much! He is very into his numbers and this is something he enjoys playing with. He loves the colors to it, he is always naming the color of the number he chooses. I really like how the double digit numbers are connected. The pieces are of great quality and the board is good quality as well. Very pleased with this purchase. Makes learning a little more fun for sure!

Fun way to learn
My kids love the vibrant colors. They kind of toss them around like toys but when I sit with them and play math games with them, they are more receptive to learning than out of a book. I love that they are now wanting to learn about numbers, the black and white math books didn’t bring the best out of them, but these colorful numbers do. Impressed!
