Thicker coins do not fit.
It is a beautiful display for regular sized coins but if you have coins that are a bit thicker they will not fit in the slot.

Perfect size to get you started on your collection
I think this is the ideal sized coin holder when you are starting out on collecting challenge coins. One of the best attributes of this holder is that the ridges in the wood are thick enough that it can sufficiently hold up different sized coins. I love the classic look of the holder as well. A perfect gift for anyone who is starting a collection.
