Q: Is this soft and comfortable for the dog or is it stiff, hard and irritating?

The material of these bags is the optimal combo of a material that is flexible and tough,,,,,, it doesn't create a lot of friction so that helps the dog move more easily,,, and still wears well... If you have a problem keeping a belly band or diaper on the dog,, I've experimented with making suspenders for them so they don't wiggle out of the belly band etc.

Q: When I try to check out it won't let me ship to a PO Box. Any suggestions?

Write in the physical address of the P.O. with the box number. Works for me when I couldn't get something delivered to a locker

Hello, our largest drag bag is the size XXL and measures 30" from the elastic part to the bottom of the bag. It sounds like your dog may not fit, but you can measure him by looking at the measurement card on the listing to see if it will. Hello Jeanne, the drag bag measurement is from the elastic part of the bag to the bottom of the bag. So if you are looking at the photo of the white dog in the blue drag bag, measure from where the elastic sits on the dog to the bottom of the paws and compare that measurement to the sizing chart.
