Q: Is this effective on cleaning up cat litter?

Yes, very well made, easy to use

Q: Are the bristles nice and stiff? How long are they?

The bristles are approximately 2 1/2 inches long, and medium stiffness.

Q: Are the bristles natural or synthetic?

The label says “dense and durable PET bristles which are gentle and won’t scratch the cleaning surface.” I was astounded at how effective this brush is in getting everything up with one sweep. I had the label handy because I got another one for a friend who always has crumbs on her table which she tries to get up by hand.

Q: Does the black loop for hanging bother your hand while using this, or feel uncomfortable?

The only time i notice the loop is when hanging up the broom or while spinning it around my finger. Its just a shoelace-like string so it's never an inconvenience
