I purchased this remote to replace for my older tv. At first it worked great then it just started going awry. Had to take the batteries out and use the original remote.

Lasted less than 2 years
Cheap sensors is my guess. Was never awesome. But cheap... still, I'd rather pay more for something that has a longer product life. There's already too much landfill!
