If your kitty is over weight you may want to consider adding in a canned food. Cats are obligate carnivores. Dry food has a lot of carbohydrates and cats aren’t made to digest to many carbs and they get over weight from it. Look into measuring out the dry food and adding food puzzles or supplement with some canned food. I use this diet for my cats as an over the counter intestinal diet because one of my cats has irritable bowel. He tolerates it and loves this food.
