Manufacturing moved to Kentucky, garbage plant that uses garbage material. One month my orijen kibble was dark and rich colored and smelled meaty. The next month, I got a bag thatbwas light colored smelled like stale cardboard, was a different shape and size kibble. I was disturbed, and contacted Orijen. Got a snooty canned response that I must be mistaken, nothing has changed. I made a bowl for my lab, who eats ANYTHING and everything like she is starving - and she sniffed it, turned her nose up, and walked away. Did some digging, EVERYTHING has changed. The source of the meats, the processing plant, location, QC, all ate now local US based - Kentuxky plant and nearby farm sourced livestock- and US does not have the same high level of requirements for dog food content and processing. \nI went back to orijen, I had 200.00 in 2 bags of unusable food - I jumped through all their hoops, sent pictures of the old v new.food size by size, the codes from the bags, my Amazon order numbers and dates. \nThey sent me a paper coupon for a free SMALL bag of food. Wow. So, 25.00 coupon toward something that is no longer the product I signed up for, that my dog wont eat, on PAPER - can only be redeemed in-store. Insulting. If you go to champion pet foods website and search for online shippers, you can save money by purchasing through authorized sellers. When you see Orijen for almost $90 + shipping you are over paying.
