All I can tell you is that it is crispy.This did not come packaged as shown in the listing, not even close!One of the first things that I look at when I receive food products purchased on-line is how the manufacturer packaged it. I ask: Does the packaging ensure that the quality and freshness are preserved, and that the product makes it to the consumer in usable condition. In this case the answer on all is NO.You can see in my photo what I found when I opened the package it was delivered in. The product was spilling out of the cardboard box and into the shipping enveloped. I at first thought it was packaged lose in the box, then saw that it was in a fragile plastic bag that was split open at the seal.The product is unusable in the condition it was received. So dissapointed.They need to improve the packaging to ensure the product makes it to the consumer in good condition and will maintain its freshness on the pantry shelf if not use immediately.Until then I recommend to avoid this item.

With all the hoopla of Dubai bars lately I wanted to make them out of curiosity. I actually had all the ingredients on hand except the kataifi and love that this one is already toasted. I didn't know what to expect for taste, but it's got a light nutty fresh toasted crisp taste. I can see where this may be good in a variety of homemade chocolates. The reason I removed a star is mine did not come in the nice resealable package shown in image. It was in a self seal cellophane bag and had leaked some kataifi in the cardboard box it came in and a lot ended up all over the counter. Certainly not air tight and messy so I put it in a tightly sealed container as it will be at least a week before I am able to make the Dubai bars. If it had come in the better packaging I would have easily rated it 5 stars.

I love that this is pre roasted so I don’t have to brown it before adding to my chocolate mix. It takes a good 10 mins out of the ordeal. It stays crispy and it has a good crunch.

Similar to another reviewer, this order of kataifi arrived from the manufacturer in an open plastic bag that was placed inside a cardboard box. The box did have a taped seal that didn’t appear to be tampered with, but the bag was completely open. In fact, pieces of kataifi were dispersed all over the product and shipping boxes, which I believe is 100% the responsibility of Baby Shower Chocolate.Not only was the bag improperly sealed, but the kataifi was stale. Frankly, I barely felt comfortable trying it for the purpose of writing this review, let alone baking with it, so I’m sadly going to dispose of the rest. It’s such a shame because I bookmarked several new recipes that I wanted to try. On the plus side, the company seems to be legit. It’s based in the Netherlands, and they do have a website for USA customers. But there’s virtually no info about their products other than they’re halal. Nothing about manufacturing, sourcing or safety.

I'm so disappointed in this. The Kataifi arrived with no tamper seal, already opened, and completely stale - it was also not roasted as stated in the product description. I'm not willing to eat anything that comes unsealed so it was thrown in the trash. The quality, taste, texture, and ease of use could not be determined based on these factors. Do not waste your time or money on this product.

The size is really small and probably good for one huge bar or even less. I received the item and some of the contents had poured out. Good taste, but not as crunchy to me because it wasn't sealed well.

BABY SHOWER CHOCOLATE's Roasted Kataifi are easy to use. I've had the unroasted ones, so love the convenience of this! They taste fresh & crispy. Easy 5 for convenience & quality.

The kadayif came in a non-airtight plastic bag (with just an adhesive strip) and had spilled all over its box. It is a pretty even golden brown color and very crispy. The strands are very short. It tastes neutral, as is expected from kadayif, but was also a bit stale from the contact with air. It was not resealable or even originally sealed as shown in the picture. Disappointing.
