shame it's not more affordable
It's a good product, especially if you have to test frequently. However I think it is expensive to use on a regular basis £105.00 for a pack of 2 sensors (1 sensor lasts 14 days). Think if you are going on holiday or if you are unwell then it's brilliant.

Dependable
Very easy to use. Simple instructions. Do you your smart phone for compatibility tho as not every phone works. In my experience there is always a slight variation with a finger prick test but nothing to worry about. Been using for over two years now.

Important product for preventing diabetes
Easy to use, pretty accurate ( I compared to glucometer a few times), I’m not diabetic but trying to make sure I don’t get diabetes type II in future. I have a tendency to higher than normal fasting glucose and realised that certain foods )eg any rice or bread)sent my glucose high. With the help of this device I was able to personalise my food choices so that they’re healthy for me and don’t cause high glucose spikes. I discovered that those times when I got “ the munchies” happened after foods that caused my glucose to spike. Keeping the glucose graph from this sensor without major spikes has helped me get my glucose down to good levels, prevented dips after exercise and helped me lose weight.

Good but come off too easy
I have only had one our of the four stay on for full 14 days. Too expensive to have to replace every 5-8 days

Not reliable and not very accurate.
I've had type 1 diabetes for 47 years and was hoping to find a more reliable way of predicting hypos for which I no longer get warning signs. The first of these 2 sensors only stayed on for 20 minutes. Sopposedly Abbots will be sending a replacement.Otherwise the readings are seriously inaccurate and the alarms don't work due to the blue tooth connection with my iphone being completely unstable and unreliable.I couldn't recommend this product and quite honestly I'm surpised they're allowed to market a product which is this bad.I certainly won't be using these in future.

Wonderful piece of kit, but has its disadvantages too
I bought these for my husband who’s been diabetics for over 30 years, wonderful piece of kit once you put it on, giving readings with the phone app in 2 seconds. But it does have some massive faults: when my husband has a hypo and starts sweating, the device comes undone straight away, so if you put it on 2hrs before a hypo, then you sweat, it comes off straight away…that’s a major issue that needs to be addressed by the company as it is way too expensive to only be used for a couple of hours!!! Also, my husband hasn’t realised until now, but when he walks through door frames he is very close to the frames and any light touch will displace the device…it's meant to last for up 2 weeks but the most we got out of it it’s 5 days! It’s frustrating as it’s such a wonderful device when it works, but it surely way too expensive for the disadvantages it comes with.
