Shockingly sturdy and heavy. I was not 100% sure that it would sit and be stable underwater, but it does! It has a little bit of wobble, but in a good way. Outside of the pool, it works really well as a bar stool. It's actually more stable that many of the bar stools we have. Between swims, we dry it out and my kids actually prefer it to some of our bar stools. It's spendy, so I'm not sure if we will be able to afford a set of four, but I do suspect that we'll be picking up a second because it really is fun and comfortable.

Likes:The product arrived fully assembled and ready to be tossed in the pool. It is truly stupid proof.Sinks well and stays in place with the built in weight. I believe them when they say it will not stain as the plastic is thick.Dislikes:Over $200 is just large amount. I know shipping was pricey as the unit has the weight already installed, but I can't imagine people buying multiple units.If you are rich get a few.

We have an inground pool and are constantly looking for new seating we can use in the pool. When I saw this on Amazon we had to give it a try. This thing is really nice, its super heavy and built very well. The height is perfect as well and its something you can literally toss in the pool and use - no assembly or anything to put together. The water drains well out of it as well out of the bottom. Its got nice rubber feet so that it stays in place to which is really nice.Just keep in mind this is for ONE not two seats like shown in the picture. Its a steep price for one but it great quality and works well.

I think these stools are really nice - I love that there is even foot support lower on the base of the stool. There's nothing to put together - you simply unwrap them and drop them in the pool - no assembly required. The weight does keep the stool from floating, however, it doesn't exactly stay still. It's easy to rock back and forth and it'll move pretty easily without effort, which isn't ideal. I honestly expected TWO stools from the pictures - that's my fault for not reading the description better. I think they're a bit expensive for what you get, given that it does tend to move easily.

I got the 24" pool stool, which should be perfect for the shallow end, where people congregate anyway. The fact that there's no assembly is SUCH a bonus. It's pre-weighted, plus fills with water. Fantastic design! Can't wait for the pool to open!

This is a good looking pool seat, but the post where the trunk meets the base (below the foot rest portion) is very flexible. This allows the top of the stool to wobble when you're sitting on it and it feels very unstable. It doesn't do a great job of supporting a person's weight. My son weighs about 175 and when he sits on it I can see the trunk wobbling. I have a stool without the foot rest, that's also slightly shorter, and it's much more stable.My 16yo weighs about 100 pounds and it's better, but there is still visible flexing and sideways movement of the top even when the base is well placed and level. Picture a dandelion swaying in the breeze....I won't sit on it and have instead chosen to treat it like a poolside table, out of the water. The seat is great for a book, speaker, etc and when I'm sitting in my Adirondack or hanging out on a chaise the foot rest on this is at a prefect height to set a drink on.Unfortunately this just isn't a product I'd recommend or am even able to use as intended. It's great as a table, but not something I'd pay $200 for.

The media could not be loaded. This is great build for this stool. It’s a little tall for me…I’m 5’4” and my mom in the vide is 5’ 1”. This stool will be for our taller guests when hanging out in the shallow end of the pool. I like the footrest so when I do manage to get up on to it I rest my feet. My mom had knee surgery so this stool was a little high for her but she was able to make but felt like she was gonna fall. In the pool with it filled up with water it’s going to feel a lot sturdier. The ridges on the seat of the stool will keep you from sliding off. Seating is comfortable if you can get on it…lol This stool will function well in our shallow since we’ll have over by the wall of the pull. The stool could use a backrest for back support but it’s fine without it. I think $209 is a very steep price.
