Q: Is this mesh good quality? Is the cage good overall?

The mesh withstood the rigours of the summer last year and was in perfect condition at the end of the season and easy to remove from the cage. The frame stood on the patio anchored down on one side in the border with the anchor rods which was enough to keep it secure. The frame and mesh was easy to dismantle to be stored away for use this year.

Q: Can this be mounted so it is 2m long rather than 3?

Yes it can, you just have to leave out the 5 x1mtr long poles along with the relevant middle connectors, from the straight side and top, but you would have to adjust the net, which is designed for the longer length. Alan 👍🏻🙂

Q: Can it be used to grow tomatoes on like a frame? The tomato plants always grow too heavy and deform what ever I grow them on. Need something sturdy

I always use bamboo to tie my tomato plants up to as they grow, and usually that enables them to grow upto 6 ft tall, but the bamboo need to be linked together with a string chain to keep them upright and then linked to the structure of something really secure so that they form a strong enough support to hold the plants and yes you could do that inside the cage, but to try to let the plants be held just by the cage without bamboo would be a tall order. Don't forget to pick out the tomato side shoots from the leaf spurs so that the fruit bearing vines grow out of the main stem, that way they are easier to manage and the crop grows well.
