Goody Super Detangling Comb With Overlay & Dip - 1 Ct

I have been looking for more than 10 years to replace my original Goody Color Dip comb that I have had since 1994! I still have it and used it, until I found this Goody Color Dip comb.. I have literally gone through so many combs trying to replace my original and have had 0 success at finding anything that I could compare it too until now. I have thick, course, long, and wavy hair. I have to comb my hair in the shower and I don't touch it after a towel dry unless adding mouse or a frizz control product. This new comb has been the closest thing, feels good in my hair, feels good in my hand and gives me almost the same feeling as my 20+ year old comb did. I have found the original Goody Color Dip comb on websites and they wanted $30.00 for the comb.. I almost purged and paid their price, but I didn't and continued my search for a replacement. I am thrilled with this comb. I would highly recommend it. Its not the original, but damn near close. I wish Goody would bring back the 1994 version for a while as a LIMITED EDITION for those of us who love that comb. It was the best out there and I know consumers would purchase the vintage version all over again.

I had damaged hair, it broke my favorite comb. It was an antique but I didn't realize this until I needed to replace it. I bought a couple at local stores but when you've been using a certain comb for half of your life it's hard to style your hair with a different shape. This is made by the same company a pretty close to the same shape. Feels the same when I use it.This one combs through what's left of my damaged hair after cutting off 4 inches, it feels good in my hand and is just flexible enough to feel good but stiff enough to detangle my long hair. I'm looking forward to too many years of using my new favorite. I just ordered a few more so that in 30+ years I don't have to train my old hand to hold a new comb

Bought this to replace the one I have seemed to misplace. The one I misplaced I used for well over ten years. These are great combs. The color will eventually wear off the ends, but who cares!! They last forever and are very durable. I have dropped these combs a gazillion times and never had a problem. I also use the picks from this line. I have multiple sizes and HATE when I misplace one!! I keep one in the shower to comb the conditioner through my hair and to hold my hair up while I finish my shower. The picks last forever as well!!

This was my favorite comb of all time. I bought 3 of them 10+ years ago and the last of them finally broke a tooth. I searched for a replacement at every Walmart/Target to no avail... read the reviews and bought this version. It is ALMOST as good as the original. Just not as firm as I would like. And I preferred no rubber, all plastic.

Best comb ever for de-tangling after shampoo. Good for travel since it is slim and can fit easily anywhere. It seemed to be missing from my local stores for awhile so I thought it was discontinued so I bought one on Amazon when I saw it. Then it shows up in my stores! Oh well, it's good to have a spare.

Pros: It is made of a nice rubberized material. It seems like every other comb is made of hard plastic and thus feels like it is going to rip your hair out. I like its ergonomic shape in my hand and it makes detangling better (though let's admit, detangling is as fun as dancing with a wet cat).Cons: The teeth are a too far apart, so it doesn't catch the little knots when you are combing your hair out. The material could be a smidgen stronger, as it bends quite a bit if you are really pulling on your hair. And last but not least--it's not the old version of the comb that Goody used to make. This one is a larger and bendier. So if you are used to the old version, prepare your heart and hair for disappointment. I loved my old one so much and sadly cannot find it anywhere. Goody manufacturers, if you are reading this: pretty please with sugar on top, make the old, smaller version again. We beg of you.
