Easier to install than grab handles, design and functionality is top notch!!
I've done a ton of mods on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JLU, and could not be happier with the ease with which this went on. Somehow even the simple jobs turn out a bit complicated, but not this! Just yank off the 2 plastic trim pieces, mount a bracket on either side with a couple of bolts, and you're ready to throw on your hi lift! Btw for that last step, it just requires a single bolt to secure the jack through a tab on the right, and a nut to secure it to a pre installed bolt on the left. And let me tell you, it looks *great* up there!For me it was between this option and the rear bumper one which mounts to the gate hinge (since I don't have a roof rack and didn't like the look of the hood or door mounted options), but I went with this because 1) it doesn't add any weight/strain to my [already loaded] gate, and 2) because I love how stealthy it is up high, aligned with my roof, and 3) because it keeps my jack out of the elements when the top is on.I was really hoping this wouldn't detract from my Jeep's look since my top is off most of the time and it looks sexy, but I actually love what a great look it adds (I've begun to embrace things that make my Jeep look non-stock haha). I also love how it compliments my fire extinguisher.Two things to note: the instructions recommend modifying the plastic trim pieces after install, which amounts to cutting a section of the plastic to accommodate the thickness of the bracket (which now keeps the trim from fully seating/being flush). Trust me, you *absolutely* want to do this! It took me all of 10-15 mins per side using the saw blade of a Leatherman's tool and a file to smooth it up a bit afterwards. And now you would never know the trim piece was modded at all! If you don't mod it, you really need to leave the plastic piece off altogether as it is very likely to fall off down the road from the clips not being able to fully seat.Oh and the second thing was you should be able to lock it to the right side tab depending on your specific jack. I have a 48" black Hi Lift and the handle hole immediately adjacent to the one the bolt is through lines up perfectly for a standard size padlock, which I was so thrilled about.Anyway, don't hesitate to buy this. It is very solid, of high quality, a super easy install that a monkey could do and, perhaps most importantly, looks fantastic (see pics).

Awesome mod for badlands 48” farm jack
The media could not be loaded. Super easy install. Took maybe 10 mins. Pop the plastic roll bar covers off, use the provided bolts to secure the mounts, then throw your jack up there and secure it with one bolt/nut on one side and a nut on the base. Keeps it inside under the hard top but still within reach. Out of the elements and away from theft/tampering. Love this mount!After doing a couple drives with it mounted, it’s still solid. Only rattle was coming from the jack handle that is only secured by a rubber slip. I tightened up the far end with a zip tie and issue is gone. Mount is solid and doesn’t make any noise while driving. With the jack handle secure it makes zero noise. Definitely recommend this addition to anyone with a farm jack!A lot of the other reviews didn’t say what kind or what size jack they were using and didn’t have pictures (close up) of how it mounts. Hope this review was helpful.

Great product
This mount took about 10 minutes to install (took me longer to find the socket wrenches) and it is amazing, out of the way, easy to get it in and out, and absolutely no rattling, totally out of the weather and dust. One of the best mods I have done. And it fit perfectly for my 4 foot high lift jack.

Straight forward install
Delivered days early, TY. Instructions for 2022 JLU were dead on. Pop off plastic cover left and right and brackets bolt straight on in seconds. Now the problem...my Hi-lift jack is only 42". Yes I went for the goldylocks jack, not too short not too long, just right for me. And it comes up about 2 inches short of the bracket. So I turned the adapter tow bracket thingie on the end of the jack and drilled a hole thru it that lines up with the bracket hole. DoneHaving read all posts, I too am a little concerned with the bolts loosening up so I may even drill and pin them with an easy to pull cotter pin or something. Last thing I need on the trail is watching this heavy jack go spitting out the side window during a hard left-right-left wobble crossing a rut or something. Yeah laugh it up. Shit happens.Completely out of view when installed. Does not impede rear view mirror at all. Love the Stealth !!Only a small amount of vibration chatter so I will also be doing the selective velvet cover trick others mentioned previously.

Solid, OEM Design-Worthy Product
This is a very good aftermarket Hi-Lift Jack mount system. Just pop off the two pieces of roll-bar trim, mount the brackets with the provided hardware, pop the two pieces of trim back on, and you’re done.I know some folks keep the trim off, while some prefer to put it back on without modifying them. If you want to keep the trim on and want the trim to fit like it’s OEM, you will actually need to do a little trimming to the trim as I did. You’ll see what I mean after you install the mounts and reinstall the trim.Mounting the Hi-Lift Jack to the new brackets is not too difficult — just have to muscle the jack up onto the new brackets and ratchet it to the new mounts.I see that some people have stated the mounted jack makes no noise, while others have stated it rattles and clunks quite a bit. I’ve actually experienced both.Let me explain. My jack was relatively new and not used or oiled when I initially installed it onto the new mounts. It made zero noise when driving down smooth or bumpy roads. However, one day I needed to raise my Jeep using the new jack. Per jack instructions, you need to oil the jack in a few locations before use, which is exactly what I did. When I reattached the jack to the mounts, the jack suddenly had a voice, rattling and clunking everywhere. The added oil loosened all of the moving parts on the jack. It took quite a few zip ties and rubber shims to shut her up. Yeah it shut her up, but I’m dreading having to use it again due to the effort it now takes to quiet it down.As for the mount itself, it really is OEM design worthy. I recommend it. It keeps the jack out of the way and nearly out of sight unless you’re looking for it, and it keeps your jack out of the elements.
