it gets kind of hot compared to the original...it is not an OLED, like the original was...I doubt it's as waterproof as it was before...I used it to get an old broken phone unlocked long enough to get some data off of it. It worked great for this. I would not recommend this as a long-term solution

*I don’t write many reviews but this is really bothering me now & I feel like i need to share my experience with others.A friend of mine just started having the same issue yesterday with their first purchase from this same seller.So let’s talk about this product, shall we?Works when it wants but sometimes just stops working altogether for hours.Other times, I can only open an app if there’s a notification for said app on the Lock Screen (which is where I’m at now with my current purchase)and of course my return window closed YESTERDAY.If I’m lucky, I can turn off the screen, wake it back up and have it work for a few minutes.Fun right?I thought maybe I just got a couple bad ones…so I gave this seller another 2 chances.My fault!Imagine you’re a single income household(single parent) & you’ve used the last of your available funds to purchase this screen because your phone is NEEDED for work, to make money, & pay bills….Imagine you travel for work, you NEED GPS, and your screen stops working in a strange place. What then?A *small* item can REALLY have a negative impact on someones daily life and the fact that others don’t consider this is disappointing but not surprising.I do not recommend.Hopefully this was an honest mistake on sellers part ( maybe they bought a bad lot) but how would we ever know? :/

Very good screen kit replacement kit! Came with the tool tools and everything needed. And definitely one of the best valued screen replacement kits I could find or purchase online especially with the super fast shipping.

The screen is functional with 3D touch however, there are noticeable diagonal lines and there is a little blue tint to it. If you are looking for a cheap replacement this is it.**Update: my phone gets super hot without using a charger and my battery drains faster even with 100% battery life. I would suggest buying a soft-Oled refurb on eBay for $90, don’t waste your time and money on this cheap stuff.

It gets 3 stars only because it technically works. It’s a terrible replacement. Lags, not smooth. Fits horribly. Cheap though. It allowed me to replace the screen on my phone so that I can then trade it in for an upgrade. And that’s about all this is worth.

Worked great. Loved the tool set with it.
