Q: Anyone help my heater doesn't blow hot air even if left running for a while any ideas

Make sure that you have pulled the control cord enough times to click the heater around to one of the two heat-producing settings. If this does not work, your unit is faulty and should be returned to the vendor.

Q: What is the IP rating?

I don't know and as mine broke after a cpl months .. will not take back .. wouldn't buy again

Q: Does this heater use alot of electric?

It doesn't appear to use a great deal of electricity. It is so efficient that we don't have it on very long and rarely use the 2kw setting.
