James Wellbeloved Complete Dry Senior Small Breed Dog Food Turkey and Rice, 7.5 kg

Good quality dry food for older dogs. Prices are comparable with similar products. My dog loves it and it comes in a few flavours so I can vary his menu.

Bought this for my 12 year old chihuahua who has few teeth and puts on weight easily. Plus points for us:*The individual kibble pieces are nice and small*Good quality ingredients*Single source protein. So many dog foods have chicken hidden in the ingredients which he is sensitive to.*Nice sized bag and re-sealable*He has stopped itching!*Perfect poops!In fact, this has proved such a hit that my fussy greyhound has turned her nose up at her own food and is devouring this!

What can i say? Jasper my W H terrier loves it. They are quality, a trustworthy brand & we have had it for some years...... so, a thorough recommendation.

My dog loves these smells not the best

I have two small 14 year old rehomed dogs which are prone to tummy upsets and itchy skin. This food has been their saviour as not only do they both love it but have not had any flare ups since starting it. The kibble size is perfect for their small and missing teeth mouth and saves me having to chop / mash it up as they both manage it easily with just a spash of water to moisten it slightly. I initially ordered a smaller bag to see how they got on but am so confident in this product I will continue to reorder this larger one. Its price is extremely competitive considering the quality and the delivery was stressless.

I literally NEVER write reviews but I thought I really need to share my experience, even if it helps one dog/owner. I have fed my cocker spaniel with bakers for around 6 years with no issues. She is now coming up to 13 years old and around 6 months ago she started peeing on the floor every night (really not like her) unsettled, panting and her appetite was ravenous and she appeared to be loosing weight. After a trip to the vets for bloods which came back normal, I thought I would try a higher quality hypoallergenic food (James well beloved senior) to see if it made a difference and bought a 2kg small bag. Her symptoms literally resolved in 2 days!!! I thought that this could be a complete coincidence so when the 2kg bag ran out I still had a huge bag of bakers so I resumed with that. The weeing/panting/restlessness symptoms returned in a few days. I’m not sure why but I imagine it want agreeing with her kidneys as I have read that is highly processed and has been compared to feeding your dog McDonald’s. So now she is on the James Wellbeloved food, it’s more expensive, but I’m so glad she has returned to being a settled and healthy dog and I don’t have to clean up wee every morning. So changing food is definitely worth a try if anyone else’s dog is having issues. I have also started using natural mixers like egg, lentils, brown rice, Mackrel, tuna, carrot to mix in for a little taste instead of any ultra processed stuff. Hope this helps.

My senior dogs have become fussy and this is the only pebbles they like. Apparently size does matter when it comes to their dry food and they don't like those bigger pebbles anymore. They're to old so they get whatever they want now....i'm just happy they eat

Accidentally purchased the senior food instead of adult, but our dog loved it all the same.
