Frutlait WP596816 Sensor Valve Kit for Hot Water Recirculating Pump, Essential Component of Hot Water Recirculation System, Includes 2 x 12in Stainless Steel Pipes & thermal Bridge Valve

I got this replacement sensor kit because the one I had installed stopped flowing instant hot water to the shower. I do not know if the problem is my pump mounted on top of my water heater or the sensor mounted on my shower plumbing. In order to troubleshoot the sensor, I would need to flow hot water through the sensor to see if the thermocouple shuts off to stop the flow. Unfortunately, I did not put an access door behind the shower plumbing so getting to the sensor would require major reconstruction. So, I got this sensor and installed it under the sink to see if the problem was the sensor or the pump. This fixed the problem and we now have instant hot water at the sink again. The only problem is when I turn on cold water at the sink, I get a little warm water flowing. This is why I installed the first sensor on the shower. But this is not a big problem since this is a second sink that is not used often during the day. This sensor valve kit came with braided stainless-steel tubing, fittings and mounting screws needed for the job. The molded labelling on the sensor tube showing hot in/out and cold in/out is very helpful for correct installation. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality and operation of this sensor valve kit.

It installed easy, but plastic is pron to failure.Its better to but the Stainless steal valve if you can afford it

This replacement sensor valve kit includes all the parts for an initial install. I don't know why it's called a replacement. If I'm replacing a valve I probably already have all the connections in place. Nonetheless it's a decent sensor valve. He came packaged in a very nice plastic case that I'll reuse for other things.
