Sun protection, easy and buy itself, happy
After 10 months of use and some modifications that I made to the original design because the wind lifted and lowered the pergola canvas and I placed some plastic straps and with that I achieved That it no longer moves and no longer makes noise, with that I fixed the only problem that this pergola has for me.

Easy Like Sunday Morning
Took me less than three hours to put the frame together and in place. Took much MUCH LONGER to get that silly sunshade together and installed. 😂 But now that I have done it correctly, I think it should be less than an hour.I did most of the work by myself, I had my 14 year old help me move the frame from the open grass onto my patio. It’s light but cumbersome for one person.Used planters and rocks to keep the posts in place—I may actually drill into the patio and get rid of the planters, but that should be easy.Very easy to understand instructions for the most part. Four upright posts, four spanning beams, three rails for what amounts to curtain rods for the fabric sunshade. A long screw for one end of the middle curtain rod to hold a curtain glider/runner in place, and a metal bracket and magnets to hold the curtain open when fully extended on the other end (for whatever reason, my brain kept thinking those were reversed—when I finally figured it out it was dark outside, took five minutes the next day to fix). Remember the fabric pull handle will pull toward the magnets/bracket!I did this on a Saturday; Sunday morning was easy…like Sunday mornings should be. 👍

Poor instructions
Like the way it looks however instructions instead of just picture diagrams would have saved a lot of time on putting item together. Tubing is Ok wish it was more heavy duty

If you live in high wind areas, consider a heavier pergola
Size is great, easy to set up,it works well for the area,,both sturdiness and quality could be a little more stronger, I wanted something a little heavier but I managed to prop it against the deck and tie down.

Well made, good instructions, easy to assemble
Great product. Sturdy frame with canvas slides that glide so smoothly. Extra assembly parts so you won't come up short! A++We've had this for a few months now and love it. We added 10 inch wide flashing above where the canopy folds together so as to keep rain, snow and tree debry out of the closed canopy. So much easier to maintain now!!

Low quality, will not last, replacement covers not available, items missing, weird return and more
I can already tell this pergola cover will not last in the Vegas heat and winds. The frame of this pergola is extremely light and is very low quality aluminum. The wheels are plastic and you can tell will fall apart easily and will be a struggle to replace. That goes for the cover as well as you cannot easily find replacements online. The return page is very suspect which states, to "not use" the Amazon provided return label and that they will provide you with their own label seperately. Seems very suspicious. It was missing parts and they took almost a month sending out the missing parts which almost closed the return window to close before I could take action. The magnet on the pergola which intends to hold the slider from moving is too weak and the lightest wind will make this thing retract. Along with any slight wind or movement, the loop on the wheel to canopy connection is open causing the hooks to come undone constantly causing the canopy to disassemble. Besides the issue with the magnet that was originally intended to hold the canopy, which it doesn't, the entire metal frame cannot have magnets as it is truly thin aluminum that can easily bend and dent. The same price I paid Amazon, my parents paid a local store and I thought I was going to get something better than them with the Amazon algorithims. I was wrong. I dont think Amazon is good for larger items as they will make the product as light and cheap as possible for shipping. Really wanted to make this work and put a lot of effort into the install. This will ruin my concrete patio connecting this with the provided concrete anchor hardware. You can't count on everything online. I will update on the return process.UPDATE: 9/3/2024 Now I am getting a message that another representative will be providing the label. They want me to email pictures outside of Amazon. I informed them that all communications can stay within Amazon as they allow files to be sent via their website platform. Seems the goal here is to complicate the return process and delay the return outside the return window.

It was a bit of a pain to put together
It was a pain to put together even with 3 of us working on it but, after multiple hours, it’s up and it looks good. If you tighten the screws too much then it does warp the metal a bit but we were able to quickly remedy that by loosening the screws again. Definitely pay close attention to the pictures. We had a few times where we had to move and rearrange pieces because we put them on backwards or upside down and didn’t realize it until a few steps later. The magnets on the canvas are a bit finicky and don’t hold as well as I would like but overall it’s not a bad piece considering what I paid for it. My fingers are crossed that it will last us a while.

Love this!
UPDATE: If you have skittish dogs do not get this. Mine have never been skittish and do not like the sound of the drape sliding.Took me about 4 hours to put together (first 3 hours were by myself). I will say to make sure you’re screwing the parts on correctly because I had to unscrew them multiple times. I do wish the directions were a little more clear but I made due with them. I highly recommend getting at least 2 people to put this together, especially the last step (putting the lower half of the legs on). I also thought I was missing a part but it was inside of one of the main legs. Overall I’m very happy with how it came out.
