I used to dislike cleansing oils and preferred cleansing balms until I actually read and learned about them. I assumed only dry skinned people would like them because I always worried that they would leave an oily residue on the skin. But once I learned that they remove sebum as well as makeup and actually tried them, I have been sold ever since and I have a plethora of cleansing oils. This one washed off nicely after quickly removing my makeup. I absolutely loved rubbing it into my face, doing my eyes last as I use a tubing mascara and I have to delicately rub the tubes off the lashes. This oil did an excellent job and didn't even leave any mascara under my eyes. I always double cleans, no matter what, so I used my normal face wash after and my skin felt soft as well as nice and clean, no residue whatsoever. I love that with cleansing oils you don't have to worry about your moisture barrier or skin being stripped. I have used this brand before. It was an eye cream that I really liked and despite the name, I did not realize that it was a French brand. Maybe that is why the brand is a little pricy. I have definitely used bigger containers of cleansing oils that cost less. 5 ounces for the current price of $38 is a bit much, but it does really do a good job and I definitely recommend it.

This oil does a surprisingly good job of taking off makeup, even my mascara that's a tube formula and can be hard to remove. The first time I used it, I followed it up with a toner and found it came away almost completely clear. I do find I prefer to follow it up with my regular facial cleanser before going on to next nightly routine steps, but that's just my personal preference. It doesn't take much at all to remove your makeup and it's a large bottle that should last a long time.

I've been wanting to try oil pulling recently and this oil looked like a good option based on my limited research. The oil is very thin and easy to massage into the skin so a little goes a long way. It has no scent at all, which I appreciate. I did about a 2 minute massage with this oil, then washed my face as usual with my normal cleanser. My face felt very hydrated and smooth immediately afterward and still felt noticeably hydrated the following morning. So far I haven't had any breakouts or issues, but I'll update my review if anything changes. I really think my pores looked clearer after my bath too. I struggle with clogged pores and blackheads on my nose and chin and I'm hoping the oil pulling method will help. I really enjoyed using this oil and will be incorporating it into my nightly skincare routine. The price seems very reasonable and I will continue to use this brand as long as I don't experience any changes.

This did a great job removing all of my makeup. With most oil based cleansers, I find that I have to do a bit of cleanup with a cotton pad to make sure everything is removed, but not with this one. My cotton pad remained clean when I went over my face with it. This left my skin feeling mostly balanced, but leaning slightly towards the dryer side, although it should be noted that my skin is also on the dryer side.This cleanser is made in France.

This is a solid product and I like that it doesn't have a ton of ingredients. I'm in my 40s and have not used an oil-based cleanser before. When I wear eye makeup, I always use eye makeup remover regardless of the cleanser. I found this cleanser to be very gentle and moisturizing for my normal to dry skin, which has gotten slightly drier with age. I think I will probably use it in the morning to give me extra softness during my morning routine.

I found this product to do a great job at removing cosmetics, even the sometimes tough to remove waterproof mascaras. Since I have dry, mature skin, I also apprecitate how nice and soft my face feels after cleansing. This oil is very hydrating on my face. It helps remove all the makeup from my face. After it leaves a slight residue that makes my skin feel soft. It has a slight pleasant scent also.

Many formulas of cosmetics cannot be removed with just soap and water. Cleaning cloths are wasteful and the magic cloth leaves foundation behind. It cannot get into your pores. Cleansing oil is the answer. This lightweight formula works great to remove stubborn cosmetics. It is a good value and can be followed up with a facial cleanser. This will remove stubborn lipstick, eye liner and mascara. A great tool to use any time you need to take off the day.
