Installed it very easy. Very strong once it is installed. Be careful that you rest it on a soft surface when applying the felt lining because the paint is super thin and easy to scratch and chip. I’ll probably cover the underside with fabric to hide the metal surface. Overall I’m very glad I added this to maximize this space.

The media could not be loaded. My 2019 Mercedes Sprinter has always been convenient for both travel and work, but I was looking to make the most of the available space. The solution came in the form of the Brand Vanhoxcci Van Headliner Shelf, which created an ideal overhead storage area.With its carpeted surface, the shelf easily holds my laptop, printer, PS4 console, and other essentials. Thanks to the soft covering, nothing slides or rattles, even on uneven roads. The included curtain rod is a nice touch—just pull it across for a bit more privacy.The only minor drawback is that the shelf slightly reduces headroom, meaning I have to duck a little when getting up from the driver’s seat. Still, it’s a small price to pay for the added functionality and neatness it brings to the cabin. Installation took about an hour and wasn’t particularly difficult.If you want to use your space more wisely and keep your Sprinter’s interior organized, this shelf is a great option. Now my Sprinter feels even more practical, and I’m genuinely pleased with the result.

I really like this product. Its really close to five stars. Since installing I have had some 'rattles'. It gets better with weight on the shelf and I did put some rubber between the shelf and the front roof to make it firmer.The 'rug' like covering over the shelf really should come in two pieces not one big one. Make it easier to install. It also was cut a bit large so I had extra on the edges but I have cut that with a knife.The directions are okay.If you are doing this one a sprinter that is also an RV then you may have a wall behind the driver. This makes screwing down the shelf difficult. You will NEED a second person, the bracket screws over the driver is not easy to access. It is also a bit of chore to get the shelf in. You need to slide the side brackets down 90 degrees., install the shelf then bring the brackets up.This is really a great feature for the van. Its worth the effort.

Great quality very easily install super usefull extra space.

This shelf adds much needed extra storage in a space that is wholly underutilized. What van lifer doesn't need more storage space? The final fitted product looks pretty good, not quite up to an OEM or big dollar conversion standard but likely better than you could do on your own. The install is pretty straight forward, just follow the directions. You will need T-25 and T-30 Torx bits, an 8mm box end and an Allen key whose size I forget. It helps if the Allen keys have ball ends that allow use in an offset fashion. While it can be installed by one person, two make the job far less tedious. I installed the stick on fabric on the bottom rather than the top. It's a close but not exact duplication of the stock headliner.The end result is a shelf that doesn't quite seal around the edges so you can't use it store small items that might roll around, best for bulky items like bedding. If it more closely followed the contours of the headliner, I would have given it five stars. I am not sure if any of the other offerings out there fit better.
