Wonderful! I'm switching from Silkies!
These 100% merino wool longies are soft and beautiful! The pewter is such a gorgeous blue. My husband gave me 100% silk long underwear for our first ski trip many years ago, and silk has been my favorite until today. This merino wool set fits like a second skin and gives where it needs to when I'm moving. When winter turns cold these will definitely keep the chill away.Merino wool is so soft, if ever given the option that's what I choose. So do closet moths. They can tell the difference between fine merino and acrylic even in the dark. After losing a favorite sweater, I continually keep moth traps in the closet in case they make it back into the house, but this beautiful base layer is going into a drawer with cedar blocks. Not taking any chances. My 93-year old mother is always cold. I gave her new silkies last year, but I'll be sending her a Woolcano Women's 100% Merino Wool Base Layer Set for her birthday early this year! She's going to love them. The colors are so beautiful it's worth spoiling the surprise to let her choose whichever she likes the best.So thankful I found these; I never would have thought to look for wool. If you want to pamper yourself or someone you love, these are beyond extra special.

Leggings are not opaque
I have a size medium in this merino wool base layer set from Woolcano. I’m 130 pounds, 5'5", 34A, 30-31 inch waist. The medium top fits great, and the leggings are a tad snug at the waist, but not too snug to wear. The leggings are NOT opaque, so they are suitable only to wear underneath something else, or in the house. I wear the leggings around the house and to bed. For me, they are great for the fall and winter. I’m usually cold when I get in bed, and then wake up hot in the middle of the night. The leggings keep me cozy: warm but not too warm. The shirt and leggings are 100% merino wool. They are soft and tag-free. I washed them on gentle cycle in cold water and line dried. They did not shrink or fade, but do have a very slight fuzz, so I think they will wear over time. The rubber Woolcano logo on the sleeve will probably peel off in time.I have the Pewter color and really like it! It’s nice to have some variety from the usual black and gray wool base layers.

Perfect and comfortable - I wouldn't change a thing!
This merino wool base layer set arrived today and I couldn’t be more pleased. The fit is just as expected (I’m a typical “medium” – 5’4”, 130 lbs.) and the material is cozy and soft. You can tell in my photo that there’s room in the length for those with longer legs.I’m really happy with the pewter color, too; it’s a lovely shade of blue. The flatlock stitching is very well sewn. The superfine Merino wool isn’t itchy at all. The raglan sleeves make movement easy and comfortable.A+ all around!

Itchy fabric
The fabric is super itchy. It’s also not that warm. It’s defiantly not worth the price. Other than that, the fabric is getting and this did fit true to size.

Perfect to wear under your snow suit!
If you are going out skiing, or just to sled and play in the snow with your kids, you need one of these! They will keep you warm! The pants are the perfect length and the sleeves aren’t too short. This suit will keep you warm for sure!
