I ordered this for my ASUS ROG Strix G17 so that I would have one that I could leave plugged in at my desk, and one that I take with me when I go places. It works just as well as the OEM power adapter. It keeps the battery fully charged even when set in turbo and running Stable Diffusion continuously for hours. It is slightly looser in the power connector, but I haven't had any problems with it connecting and disconnecting while using my laptop, so that doesn't seem to be an issue. It does get warm under heavy use, but not anymore than the OEM power adapter, and it's significantly cheaper than an OEM replacement.

Was charging laptop for about 30 minutes and then stopped and I had to go back to the old charger this was supposed to replace

Using this for my Stric G18 for gaming because of course the battery doesn’t last. It’s a backup charger. When I use it, it gets HOT, really hot. Much hotter than the OEM. It does work but the heat worries me a bit. The label is bubbling a little. I’m not sure if I’m going to continue using it. It says it’s for the Asus but next time I’m not getting this off brand one.

I messed up. I wanted a spare charger because I use my laptop with my trainer and didn't want to keep moving the original one around. But I got one that had a 5.7mm plug that didn't always make a good connection. So I got this one. I only needed 200w but getting one slightly oversized wasn't going to be an issue. The laptop doesn't care. The charger works just like the original.

This thing works great - so far at least as well as the OEM adapter. It feels really high quality, which is nice since third-party adapters have a tendency to feel like they may just catch fire at any moment. So far I'm really happy with this one. Been using it as my office adapter for my laptop and no complaints to be had.

Great charger for my laptop. Disassembles into two pieces which makes it easier to fit in my backpack. Feels like a very sturdy cable. Is pretty heavy, but that is to be expected for a charger of this size.

It works but compared to the original it is much lighter in weight and lacks the light to show it is plugged in and active. If one is just after a replacement power supply that works, it will do the job.
