One of the most comfortable buffers on the market.
To start - Mine shipped extremely quickly from BioTech Industries. Amazon said it wouldn't arrive for at least a week. I got it after 2 days so I was certainly happy, but you can't always trust Amazon's shipping estimates. This is undoubtedly one of the highest quality rotary buffers you will find. I work in a paint shop and use a buffer/polisher everyday, mainly using a DeWalt rotary buffer and occasionally a Flex rotary in the past. This is what you want to buy if you are spending hours behind a buffer every week, not necessarily what someone needs as a homegamer though. For a DIY application if you need something more aggressive than an orbital, the classic DeWalt 6-8" buffer is more ideal - it's ~$140 and it's really more of an industrial feeling machine. The Flex is going to be far more refined, having better ergonomics and weight distribution and lacking a lot of the rough vibrations of cheaper machines. The Flex features a smooth start and very fine speed adjustment as well. Both DeWalt and Flex will last a lifetime of buffing your own car. But for me it comes down to the better maneuverability and ergonomics of the Flex. Which I think justifies spending 3x more.

Great polisher
Super smooth start. Way lighter than my Makita. I’ve tried to overheat it and it stays cool and keeps running. Very happy with the purchase.

Junk do not buy
I went through 2 of these and both lasted just after the year warranty. Luckily the second one I bought the extended warranty through Amazon. The problem is the plastic planetary gears inside strip out and then disintegrate not to mention you can’t ever get the backing pad off because it just spins and spins even after using the locking button. These are not designed for someone who buffs hard and uses them every day. They are only made for the weekend warrior. It has Great power and is lightweight but they just don’t hold up like a Dewalt and makita does.

New school rotary buffer
The Flex PE14-2-150 is a truly magnificent machine. Since the eighties we have used a Flex rotary that was a beast to handle but dependable. The PE 14 has the same or better power to do the job but at a lighter weight and a much better holding position. This makes the PE14 easier to handle and maneuver over creases and around emblems and signage on vehicles. If it holds up like the old one did, and I'm sure it will since it's a Flex, then it is worth every penny I paid for it. BTW we use this buffer almost every day in our detailing business as well as the New Flex DA buffer.

Not bad.
Seems good. A bit heavier than they make it out to be.

Don't look back
If you spend hours behind a polisher then this is the one you need to own. I have used up polishers, flat worn them out. Dewalt, Porter Cable, Makita...The Flex is smoother to use and lighter. The lack of fine vibrations reduce fatigue, and it is very quiet in comparison to other polishers, a HUGE plus if you don't like wearing ear plugs or headphones all day. Controls are in the right spots for easy on-the-fly rpm adjustments and the trigger hold is perfectly sized and placed. It will increase our production and reduce the amount of breaks the user needs to take from polishing.

Worth Every Dollar!!!
This amazing buffing machine works fantastic! I can say that it has paid off already with all the work I have being doing with it. Works excellentas a polishig machine and also if you buy an adapter you could even use it as a D.A. Sander for body work!
