Good fun, though probably a bit overpriced
My son and his friends have been playing with this for a while and it's been a lot of fun according to them. For $100 though, I would have expected it to be higher quality. It's not super cheap by any means and the backpack itself is seemingly really well made, but the gun comes off as cheap for that price. It has the option to use the backpack or a built in water tank, though I think my son and his friends only use the backpack. It also uses another random battery pack that needs a pin charger of which I'm getting a large, confusing collection. Please just start switching to USB charging. I assume that probably requires a controller in the battery pack instead of in the charger which is why so many toys don't use them, but for $100 I think that could have been figured out.I have those two issue with it, but from my son's perspective, it's awesome, it shoots a good distance, the barrel spins, and there's a giant backpack water reservoir. So I suppose that's really the important parts of a review. He likes it and despite me thinking it felt cheap for $100, it doesn't have a scratch on it after a pack of excited 8 year olds used it all summer.

OUSTANDING
I had issues with the first gun, I called costumer services, and they took care of it. they sent me a replacement within 24 hrs. sometimes things do work as expected but the excellent support services and client's satisfaction mentality of this company, really exceed my expectations.

Barrel doesn’t spin
The media could not be loaded. I like the water gun, but my barrel doesn’t spin. Double checked everything, made sure the barrel fit in correctly and aligned with the holes but still doesn’t spin. The light turns on and you can spin it, but the gun it self won’t make the barrel spin.

Love it, loads of fun
Although the gun is a bit expensive (for me), it fires great, so I was really impressed, but wish is was larger.I had an issue with the function and reached out to the manufacturer as I was about to return both guns. A rep contacted me very soon after and explained they problem I was having. I cancelled my return. After using the gun, it was a lot of fun. I wish the backpack water container was bigger (personal preference).

Doesn't Work Right Out of the Box - Lithium Battery Gets Super HOT - Watch Out
I thought this looked like a lot of fun just as a prop more than anything. Something to have poolside and squirt water with and get laughs from friends at the gatling effect of the barrels spinning around. Well, I sure am disappointed. Something sticks in it and the barrels don't rotate around as they should and the pump, which worked to squirt water for the first few minutes got slower and slower and slower in its stream, just as the barrels got slower.Something is wrong in the electronics and I don't know if it is only THIS ONE that I received or if it is all of them, but I got a super HOT BATTERY. It didn't take long either. I did charge it to full first, just as the instructions said, before even using it. It's not that powerful of a battery - I have many others here in the same form factor and similar lithium chemistries that have a lot more mAh capacity as what comes with this blaster, but those don't have overheating problems - unless I plug one into this blaster to test what the problem is.THEN those batteries get hot in the blaster, so I suspect the problem is in the blaster itself. I think it is SHORTING the current somehow - just not enough to blow out any protection circuit, but enough to COOK THE BATTERY, and I mean so very hot I can't touch it with my hands. This is a potential safety thing and so now I don't use the blaster at all.It never went NEAR the pool water. I only partly filled it from an indoor source and was merely TESTING IT when I first got it (but AFTER fully charging the battery) so this is not a problem with having fully immersed it. I filled it as the instructions showed, but not even fully. So I don't think the water it stored inside the blaster was what is causing the high C-rate of discharge that is COOKING the BATTERY and causing the danger. (Yes, I know a good bit about lithium battery chemistries and specs, and my wife is an electrical engineer - so we did nothing to cause this.)Well, now I'm saddened and disappointed because I was going to have fun at pool parties with this. I didn't expect it to last long - it's a TOY, after all, but I did expect it to actually function, and I do expect it to have sufficient protections against over-discharge or allowing over-draw on the battery in excess of its C-rate per the manufacturer of the battery.I'm very sorry but I don't recommend this at all. And if you did get one, CHECK THE BATTERY for OVERHEATING, because if it catches fire it will release a LOT of ENERGY - even though it may not seem big to you, it will BURN and start other fires if left indoors. Be careful if you did buy it. If you are just looking at it, I cannot recommend it.

Lots of Fun - OK Value
It's hot outside. Like, real hot. What better way to spend time outdoors than with water flying at you at unknown speeds? For that dream to come true, we now have the Funwee Gatling Electric Water Gun!For the cost of a small island in the pacific, you too can be the coolest kid at the water fight! This bad boy comes with everything. Lights, power, noise, backpacks, you name it.Setup is easy, just insert the charged battery pack (it comes with two) and close the compartment. The connector sits on top of the battery and the lid is a little recessed to contain it (took me a minute to figure it out). Put one of the three forms of water on it and go to town.Three forms of water (press button and slide backwards to remove):Little Container - Looks cool... doesn't hold much water. If you really want to go this way, order more.Container with hose to backpack - Lasts much longer and is still portableContainer with hose to pool/large body of water - Lasts the longest, can't leave the water.Water output - Shoots a decent distance, small blasts of water. It will keep going as long as you have water and battery. A steady beat of shots, nothing overly fast.Overall a really cool concept. I wish the value was a little better, but I'm still the coolest.
