Nice game to work on hand eye coordination. It can be made more difficult with the punch outs

This is my first time seeing anything like this. And it's a wonderful throwback to simpler times. That doesn't make it boring though. Leave the battery out completely. Punch everything out of the puzzle cards. And see if you've got what it takes to get through. Controls don't come as easy as they may seem at first. You've got to manually work the guide to the bottom after every fall. And the guide has a tendency to try jerking away from you when moving backward. But I think those things actually add to the charm of this unexpected winner. Even though there are only 8 puzzles here, I could see certain kids coming back to this time and time again.

This was a great little game. It had so many different cards to try. Even the adults started playing it.

The short and sweet: This is a fun game and my kids played with it for about 90 minutes. But it was some quirks, and to me is not worth the $20 advertised. I think $15 is fair, and $10 would be a steal. If the price was lower, I would bump up the star rating.Although it says that is suitable for multiple age groups, the primary headline indicates ages 8-12. But the artwork and the music are really made for the 3-5 year old range. The music is actually a distraction and neither of my kids liked it, so we kept it turned off. I think that this would be the perfect toy to drop the price point and market as "No batteries needed"! There really is a market for fun, tactile toys without electronics.The 6 year old liked it the most, but it was hard for him to get the hang of it at first. You have to turn both dials at the same time, but at different speeds, to maneuver the ball around. This can be a challenge from younger kids. However, what really saves the game is that there are 8 different tracks to chose from and they have multiple difficulty levels. I have to admit that it is a really good design. The 10 year old had an easier time with it and did enjoy it, but was not as interested in it.It is designed well and is overall pretty good quality. But, as a parent there are a couple of things that aggravated me. First, you have to punch out a bunch of little pieces on each card before first use. It was well perforated, so it wasn't too hard... just tedious. Also, the ball came wedged up in the top corner and I had to use a bamboo skewer to stick inside the machine and knock it loose. There also is no where to store the extra cards you are not using, so you will have to keep the box to store everything. Lastly, the music is just bad and is a total waste of batteries.A few changes would really make this better. I wish they would take out the expense of all of the electronics and invest that money into having the cards pre-cut and ready to use out of the box. I would also love to see a slot on the back to hold the cards when not in use. If they made these minor improvements, advertised it as a "no batteries required toy", and priced it for $10 - $15, I think it would be a real winner!As is, 6 year old gave it 4 stars. 10 year old gave it 3 stars. Parent gave it 3 stars considering the $20 advertised price.

I have to admit that I didn't entirely understand how this toy worked before we received it. But it is the most unique toy I've ever seen. Basically you have to continuously turn the two knobs at the bottom in order to control the ropes holding the circle with the marble. Your goal is to move the marble along a cutout of a maze path. If you go too far over the marble will drop and you have to start again. There are a bunch of different mazes to choose from and it's super simple to take them out and install a new one. Technically you can install batteries and I assume it makes noises as you go along and when you win. But I tried it without batteries and it worked completely fine. Just keep in mind that the turning of the knobs does make loud clicking noises so it's definitely not a quiet toy. My kids have been playing with this toy whenever they have down time.

This is so cool! Way better than a drawing game. It's a fully functional labyrinth. Cool obstacle cards to navigate. Practice makes permanent:)⭐️ 1 star= Dissappointed. I don't recommend it, it is poor quality, or it does not reflect the advertising.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars = Has some redeeming quality.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars = It's passable. This is such a simple and at the same time challenging game! The cards take about five minutes to punch out, so really not that big of an inconvenience. I ordered one, and the biggest drawback my kids, and my husband and I, could come up with is that we only had one!! Taking turns is a drag no matter how old you get. So I came back and got another one! Now we have “races” and boy are they fun. We give the younger person an easy map, and the older player a harder map. It’s quite genious to create a game that can cross over all skill levels simultaneously. The music is wonky to me, but I kind of like the lights. It would be nice to just have the lights.
