This product was used for case internal packing. It is easy to use and simple to cut with knife or scissors.

It was almost worth obtaining these for review just for the pleasure of watching them expand out of their vacuum packing when opened...They are of a good density, easy to cut, well shaped, and in useful thicknesses, although for larger items such as cameras you'll need to use several blocks to accommodate them. Pricewise they seem very good value, with most comparably priced sets on Amazon offering fewer sheets (£24.99 at time of review).

I've got quite a number of Systainers that I wanted to fit foam inside of to protect my more delicate tools. When this pick and pluck foam arrived, I was worried because it came so heavily vacuum-packed, I thought I'd ordered four sheets of foam TOTALLING 25mm! I need not have worried, as once you get through the three layers of plastic holding the vacuum in place, it plumps up in only a few seconds. Cutting and removing the foam is easy with a utility cutter, so you can quickly make an opening for your items. It will be very boxy though, since the foam is pre-cut into tiny cubes. There's very little material left holding the cubes together, so I do worry about the long-term adhesion of it all. However, this option is significantly cheaper than hot-wire cutting things to fit.Overall, I'm happy. there's a decent amount of squidge to the foam to hold things in place if you underside your openings very slightly, so everything stays protected. I had a Systainer custom-fitted with this foam in under 30 minutes.

This has made it very easy to correctly size the cutout I needed to store my air pistols in gun cases. The foam is dense and sturdy and offers good protection. It's easy to shape and it can be combined to allow a flat layer beneath the cutout shape. I'm happy with this.

This open-cell soft foam comes vacuum packed for efficient shipping. They bounce back in seconds. I assumed it would be closed-cell foam like in my deWalt universal tool box. I'd expect this foam to be in a case for electronics or a really expensive microphone or something, not tools.I am not going to use this for tools - I think it would tear too easily. I'll use this instead for keeping equipment in good shape, perhaps to line drawers and keep things organised.
