This works as well a OEM of not better. The price is a good deal.

I bought this to use with my Asus ROG 18 Strix Scar laptop. When my laptop is on my desk I have to route the wires down behind my desk and it is very hard to reach the outlet. Having this spare power supply allows me to keep one power supply on the desk and plugged in and the other power supply can travel with me. Makes things so much easier. This replacement power supply works just as well as the one supplied with the laptop. I have not had any issues using it.

This charger works as expected on the ASUS laptop I tested it with. The laptop only draws 280 W, so I couldn’t test the charger to the full 330 W, but it worked fine in the scenario I was able to test it for.The charger is slim, like official ASUS-branded chargers, and doesn’t get too hot, even with GPU-intensive tasks. It has various logos on the back, including a CE mark indicating compliance with EU regulations, as well as a TÜV mark, indicating it passed testing in Germany.In terms of value, this charger functions as well as an ASUS-branded charger, for a fraction of the price.Overall, this charger works as expected, and I can recommend it.

Summary: Bought an ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 (May 2022), so ordered this as a spare power supply. The original Scar 15 power supply is 280W, and the ones for the Scar 16-18 are now 330W, so a 50W higher power output. This will still work, and only deliver enough power to run the older laptop.Observations: When looking for a power supply to purchase, I would like one that has good ratings, but more so from a specialty manufacturer. While an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) would be better, they're also typically two times the cost (this one is $90). HXHTEC offers 15 power supplies, half are higher power (wattage) over 150W. A power supply isn't typically going to burn out in the first few years (my current one is two years old, and shows no signs of failure).Recommendations: Although this one is a spare, I will be using it as the primary for the first month or two, and then swapped between the original and the replacement every month.Conclusion: At $90, rating this 5-stars.

Exactly what I needed as Best Buy Geek Squad kept my charger when my laptop was serviced for a malfunctioning m.2 slot. This charger is identical to the original - minus the rog logo, of course - and is the same spec (330w) as the original! Works great!

This one is slim as advertised and it does get warm, but that's maybe because I'm putting it through the paces of charging a Strix 17" gaming laptop while it's gaming very hard. It's one I gave to my granddaughter and she's young but she can move through Minecraft and render all that but the charger keeps charging.I'm happy with it and recommend it. It's small enough to travel, but it does get pretty warm due to small size. Maybe best on non-carpet surface at home or work? Or travel but don't over-tax it. You don't want it burning out on you when you're on the road and need power to your laptop. :-)Still, I think it's a great unit and I recommend it.
