very durable and well built! It's fairly easy to put together and comes with a multi-tool. Good value for the price. The digital display takes a bit of learning. The manual shows a list of all the options and settings, but doesn't show how to actually get into the settings.

Very smooth ride on this bike. Assembly was a pain a little not going to lie but make sure you take your time and tighten everything correctly. The ride is great. It is pretty comfortable. Not the most comfortable thing in the world but it works good. The speed is about 30.6mph top speed with full throttle. The pedal assist is good I just wish it had a cruise control function like my other ebike so you don’t always have to hold down the throttle. I would definitely purchase again if I had the choice. My daughter loves riding on the bike. Wish it had arm rests for her though that would have been nice. She is 8 and pretty tall for her age and she fits back there comfortably and she really enjoys it. It has a little bar where she can hold onto. It works just enough. The headlight is not that great so I put an aftermarket headlight to brighten it up on night rides. So far I have put 60 miles on it and it runs like it’s on the first mile brand new. The battery is kind of a pain to take off so I just leave it on when I’m charging it. I still have yet to take it on a long ride to see the actual range on it but I plan on doing that soon. Over all it is a solid ebike it is very heavy though so beware of that.

Assembly is terrible. Breaks can’t be adjusted and it is touching the wheel. Spent total 800 out of which prod cost 490 and shipping 350. User manual for assembly is useless. No clue in the internet on how to assemble this product type as well. Don’t buy this from amazon.

It's almost perfect, but it also comes with some small issues. For example, when it speeds up, it wasn't smooth; it gives you a bump bump. And for the people who sit behind, it's very hard for them to rest their feet. Other than that, it's a good bike. I hope it will last long enough to be worth of the money.

Fun to ride

I purchased this for my wife so she and our 6 year old can go on rides together. The construction process was fairly easy and the end result is excellent. I will say, it is very heavy and you have to have your wits about you as you move it around (when not riding). So far the battery life has been great, the speed and smoothness of the ride is great, the seats (rider and passenger) are very comfortable. Our daughter loves how fast it can go! Hopefully, it lasts!

This a a really cool e-bike. It is my first e-bike purchase. Assembly was relatively easy. The instructions and link to the video for assembly showed different parts on the bike that were not the same as the bike I received. If you have put together a bike before though, you should be able to put this together. I had a broken part on the bike and messaged the seller. They promptly shipped the replacement part. The e-bike is rideable right out of the box. The seat was uncomfortable and I ended up upgrading the seat. I also removed the rear seat padding and purchased a more robust kids seat. I rode about 15 miles and had to adjust the brakes and tighten some handlebar bolts, but other than that it has been a blast to own so far. I am 6’3” and I fit comfortably on the bike. I get a ton of compliments on my set up. With my daughter on the back seat riding with me we can still get up to about 28mph in full while mode. All in all a great bike for the price and I will probably purchase another Ridstar e-bike.
