Might be good for some
This device feels quite uncomfortable to me, mainly because even on the lowest setting it feels too long. I do not have a short neck, but this seems to be more for people with longer necks. Consequently I could not try it as intended.

Excellent alternate
From recent spinal surgery, I have been in my own traction device, care of my surgeon. I am 2 months post-op and recovering well and able to trade out my completing confining neck brace for a more comfortable version. This brace is perfect. I have more mobility, and I am able to pump it up for my own comfort. There is room around the top sides for ice packs as well, which is a plus. Great product, I will be using it for quite some time. Highly recommend, 10 out of 10

not comfortable
The neck part is OK, not too uncomfortable, but the entire plastic shield that is placed on your shoulder and chest is SO clumsy, that it takes away the benefits of using it for more than a minute.

Comfortable and does the job
I used to use another stretcher with large screws on it to operate. I was not sure if this was going to be better than the previous one. I did not see much difference but the fabric and cushion make it comfortable> I think I will be able use this for a long time.
