Don’t waste your money.
These used to be good. The new touchscreen version is trash. The material for the fingertips (that makes it touchscreen sensitive?) is paper thin. My fingertips blew out in less than a month’s use. These things are flimsy & disposable, I wouldn’t even pay $5 for em.If you want some cute camo gloves that look tactical but are worthless- these are your gloves. If you want actual work gloves- look elsewhere.

Great mechanics gloves unless you actually are a mechanic
UPDATE: My husband is very disappointed in the durability of these gloves. He has had several pairs similar in recent years and usually a pair lasts 6 months to a year. This pair has only lasted a couple weeks. The index finger on the right hand has torn at the seam, making these gloves practically useless and ready only for the garbage. Yes, he uses them, but that’s what they’re for—using in the garage. I don’t know if we got a bad pair or if the quality has deteriorated, but it is disappointing for these gloves to fail after such a short time.I bought these for my husband on his insistence to replace his old pair. He also got the cameo colored ones. He loves them and the update of the touchscreen capability is a great plus! He is a life-long mechanic and has already been putting these gloves to the test!

Great fit but unfit for actual work.
Maybe I should have known better than to use these for actual labor but the situation arose and I needed some sort of protection for 6 hours of shovel work so I grabbed these brand new gloves and headed to work.. I would have thrown them away but I wanted to photograph it for proof how quickly they wore out. I switched to another pair of OG mechanix gloves after 3 hours and had no further problems. They provided almost no padding (0.6mm duh) which started the blisters and tore in several places, not on any stitching though. They could have been used further but the calluses on my hands arent ready for that torture. I was however pleased to see the touchscreen feature worked very nicely with my Glaxay S10.Tl;drThese have a place, but it's not in the working world.

Not What They Used To Be
I had three pairs of these that lasted me about 8 years with sporadic use, around the house, hunting, camping, and other general labor. After the third pair finally wore out I ordered four more from Amazon (2 black & 2 camo). When they arrived I noticed they were much lesser quality than the ones I bought years ago, but waited to leave a review till I field tested them, of which I just finished. After only four days of camping with moderate use (e.g. staying warm, handling firewood, etc.), I have one worn thru finger and several others are following behind. The camo and black versions appear to be the same build quality.

Good gloves, but not as good as they once were.
I've used Mechanix gloves personally and professionally for almost 15 years. I wear them as a daily glove in the winter and they are great until the temperature drops below 20*F.They are still the best gloves that I have found for the price. However, I feel they could be better regarding the materials used. Older Mechanix gloves seemed to have a nicer material especially for the palm that was more natural feeling like a suede, or soft leather. The most issue I take with my recent purchases, six different pairs for comparison, is the finishing quality of the finger boxes. The point at the end of the fingers where it is sewn together on the inside is sharp and pokes into my finger. I never remember that being an issue with older Mechanix gloves. I actually turned the gloves inside out to trim the finger boxes with a pair of scissors.==========Pros:Touch screen compatibleGood fitLarge selection of styles, colors, and usesAffordableWashable==========Cons:Seemingly cheaper materials than previous revisionsinconsistent finishing quality especially in fingersflammable

Pistol Shooter
I wanted these primarily for pistol shooting. I am active law enforcement and I deer hunt with a Encore Pro Hunter .460 S&W. I usually shoot .454 Casull ammo in it but it is still quite a thump. You just don't shoot it without gloves.I had a pair very much like these years ago and have been hunting for a replacement ever since. These are exactly what I was looking for. They pull on easy yet feel solid when you squeeze. They are lightweight enough that fiddling with triggers, mag releases, etc... should not be an issue. If I had to critique, I wish I had gotten a size smaller. Its just my preference when shooting a pistol. In my opinion, gloves that squeeze back when you tighten your grip make for a stronger grip overall. I think these will be great in the field!

Tough glove, bargain price
Lasted a tough military course where they were soaked through every day for weeks.Waterproof gloves (sealskinz etc) were a waste of time as it rained every single day and they would get soaked within 30 minutes through rain/rivers/falling over and then stay wet for the duration.Better to have these and constantly ring them out then the warmth from your hands would eventually warm the wet material providing adequate protection from the elements during winter.Nice fitting, close fit design for doing tasks (obviously you can't really tie your shoelaces or knots with any gloves on) but for handling sharp/rough/cold objects which would easily damage your soft hands (because they were so wet) these were great.I've had mechanix gloves in the past that haven't performed and fell apart after as little as a week but I was glad I gave them another go and for the price you really can't complain. The stitching and design has clearly improved some and I only intended them to last a few weeks but they made it through and time will tell how long they now last but the fact they survived what they did is a testament as the conditions/terrain were tough.I've washed them, scrunched them up, ringed them out, rubbed them together for warmth and they're still good to go, and even if they weren't? Buy another set. At this price they are a bargain.

multiple stitching failures after 3 months use + no warranty?
I purchased these for use in and around the garden as we are landscaping it ourselves. I noticed the gloves had a hole appearing near the base of the thumb where the sticking had failed and then a week later another holes appeared, again due to stitching. After spending 10 mins trying to find a contact for the seller on amazon I've given up (all items sold come with at a minimum 1 year guarantee against manufacturing defects). it's a shame as I have heard great thing for this brand but as this was my first pair, coupled with the almost impossible contact details for returning items on Amazon I shalt be buying another set or using this seller.

Fits like a glove.... a very comfortable one I might add.
Bought like a lot of my kit for a slightly off the wall use.Summer boat instruction! Normally my boating gloves are fingerless with a heavy leather palm and put to hard use pulling ropes and the like. This summer will be the second summer of instruction in a Covid environment. Last year steering wheels were swabbed and all multi touch surfaces wiped with appropriate gel etc. The sailing gloves were battered and very nearly dissolved. Their make up made them impossible to machine wash. These are comfortable, lightweight, full fingered machine washable gloves that can be worn in hot conditions (hence the sensible marking down for their warmth, not every glove needs to keep you warm). They can be washed daily and give me some breathable protection when I’m touching many surfaces. They’re not medical protection in any way, but for me they give an ability to operate and give a mild degree of the skin coverage that I require. They have a multitude of uses, but for me they’re spot on and did I mention amazingly comfortable. As for sizing I’ve always been a UK glove size 9 and these are sold as “L” and are a perfect fit.

Not as good as they look or described
This item is a little misleading in the pictures the gloves look well padded with the quick attach camera system but they are so thin in a very much doubt they'll last more than a couple of weeks if you were luckyThe size chart go up one size from your measurements there are size chart just isn't right and as somebody that not just for health reasons but also no protection covering for my hands so for many years I have been using fitted gloves and know how to measure the hand properly the only feature I do like is I can use my touch screen smartphone with them onOn Amazon there are some far better fitted anti-vibration glove that's touch screen quite a bit cheaper and definitely better materialBut I will now be stuck with these because I'm disabled by the time I'm I've gone on to have them sent back and waited for the next size up pair that were not only cheaper than this pairBut by the time I've driven to return them or found somebody else to do it on my behalf it's just not worth the cost of returning them I know the post is free but fuel isn't then on top of that our post office doesn't have wheelchair access so I have to use my stick and because of the new covid rules everything that much slower I have to pass the lady behind the counter who I must admit it's very kind but she'll get me a chair to sit on until my place in the queue comes upSo in my opinion if you're looking for a pair of gloves for DIY one or two times mechanical work or maybe some gardening you can buy far better for cheaperIf you're looking for a glove to do the job that this glove is described to do I would seriously consider looking elsewhere
