This is my 3rd Garmin watch. The first one became obsolete when the advent of bluetooth connectivity came around. My latest Garmin watch has a cracked crystal and Garmin informed me that they're no longer servicing that watch (as a side note, I am completely underwhelmed with Garmin customer service). This watch was very easy to set up - all of the buttons have the same actions as my last watch. The only thing I don't like about it is the rubber wrist band. I have found that over time my skin reacts very badly to the rubber wrist bands that Garmin offers. The workaround was to order a fabric wrist band which was a very easy change over. I also bought cystal protectors for this watch. No more broken watch faces for me. The real selling point for me on this watch is that it has a built in solar panel and will fully recharge itself if exposed to sunlight for 3 hours. I lost track of the number of times my previous watch ran out of juice (totally my fault) because I forgot to charge it. The construction of the watch face on this watch also offers much more impact protection than the previous watch.

I didn't want a watch that's limited to a specific phone. I also like that with this watch I can disable anything that can track me. Some features it has are available for over Garmin phones but being prior military I liked the Coyote Tan. It is capable of doing ballistics too. I've used it so far to track my sleep and Blood pressure. Great watch so far. Hope it lasts. I have small wrists but this watch is very comfortable to wear even while sleeping.
