Great sweep, bad screws
The sweep works and looks great; the rubber is strong enough to seal the base of the door, while flexible enough to not make installation a bother. The aluminum is easy enough to cut with a standard hacksaw (I used a vice to hold the sweep while I cut). Before inserting the screws, you'll want to use a 3/16" or so drill bit to pre-drill the holes in the door. Even then, if you tighten the screws snugly, the heads will pop off on a few. I had two of the included screws' heads pop off when installing, which mean I had to grab out a couple sturdier screws.Just buy a few sheet metal screws or better wood screws to go along with this sweep and you'll be fine.

Does What You Need It To Do
Not much to say about this product. It seems sturdy and well built. It was needed to replace an old door sweep that was just worn out and left gaps between the bottom of a door and the threshold which left holes for air intrusion.Installation was simple. Undo the 5 screws holding the old sweep. Use the old sweep to size this product for replacement. Cut this product to length. Put this sweep against bottom of door and mark position of new screw holes. Drill new holes as marked. Screw in new screws. Done. This ain't rocket science.I needed a drill (optional), Phillips screwdriver and something to cut the product to the proper length (I used tin snips). Maybe a tape measure or ruler. Pretty simple.Afterward, I had a snug seal between the door and threshold. That's what I bought the product to do, and it seems to do that well. Ovedrall, I'm pleased with both the product and the result.

Worked well
These door sweeps were less expensive than those from the big box stores and worked well. However, you will most likely have to drill additional mounting holes like I did to use them.

good product- limited sizes
This is a good product. It was too wide for my use. and the sizes were limited. I could not use it, but it was the type I was looking for.
