I had been using store shopping bags (my state has not yet banned them) for disposing of the cat litter. That worked mostly OK, but most of the bags were not usable because of small holes or tears. There was also the ever present concern that the weight would split a bag.These heavy duty trash bags seem to be at least three or four times the thickness of store bags, don't have punctures or tears, tie off nicely using the drawstring, and are up to the task of holding the waste from our multiple litter boxes used by multiple cats. We usually clean every two days, but if we miss a day the bags are still up to the task of safely holding three days of litter. They are not super cheap on a per bag basis, but the convenience and peace of mind make them worth the price.

I wanted something to replace our traditional kitchen garbage bags that made me feel better about my environmental impact. I was worried these bags would be flimsy but they are quite strong. I also worried about moisture and if it would break them down and so far they are durable. They fit in our normal kitchen trash can well. They are also a great conversation starter when our guests see the bright green bag come out!

Love these compostable trash bags. Wish they were I smidge wider. I have to cut the draw string to get them to fit over my trash and recycle bins.

Although the bag seemed thin, it did hold up well. I never let it sit mor than two days before throwing it out.

Yeah, they’re expensive but they’re soooooo much better for the earth than those awful bags we usually use which have the same halflife as uranium. Spend a little extra to save the earth, and your (proverbial if not actual) grandkids will thank you.

Good quality and helps the environment

does not have flexibility to fit in my kitchen trash can, tears at top and rips down the seam - I like the way the bag feels, but it will not fit over the top of my kitchen trash can - my kitchen trash can is very typical and every brand and no-name brand of drawstring kitchen trash bags fits. please fix this and i will continue to buy, but for now, I will have to not fill the bag fully and I will have to tie the bags carefully with each use, or just use the bags without the trash can to hold them.

I am increasingly concerned at the number of plastic bags I am using and discarding, even the ones that I reuse time and time again eventually go in the bin. I selected ny biggest offender, the 13 gallon kitchen bin bag for substitution and these bags are excellent. They are, of course more expensive but I am trying to offset that by composting and recycling so I use less bags and I feel slightly less guilty.
