Camera Stick Foundation by True + Luscious - Full Coverage Cream Foundation - Non-Comedogenic & Hydrating Formula - Vegan, Paraben Free, & Cruelty Free - 0.49 oz (Shade 1.5: Natural Beige)

I've never bought stage makeup before, so I wasn't sure what to look for. Matching color was a bit tough but, I am able to blend. I used to formulate skin care so I understand ingredient lists very well, in addition to pricing. Key points:#1. Formula is ANHYDROUS- meaning, there is NO WATER in the formula. First ingredient is a silicone. Silicones are expensive when added in large percent. Developers generally add water by 50-90% in lotions, creams, and even make-up products (less with foundation). It keeps the cost of goods down. However, this is an oil/ wax/silicone/clay formulation. This also makes for less quantity of preservatives.An interesting material they used was "Ozokerite" as a thickener and hardening agent; a very hard substance at room temp; sometimes difficult to work with (sometimes lipsticks, lip balms, and stick formulas. It is very thick when melting with high melting point for production, which adds to manufacturing costs. There is not much oil in this product (and not necessarily needed, but the materials are all high end.#2. Non-comedogenic- I have highly sensitive skin and get hives often. I can also develop dermatitis. This product DID NOT give me any reaction and I was stunned! They used standard wetting agents and materials to improve spread from what I can tell. However, pat down time is pretty rapid, so be prepared for it to stay in place quickly!#3. It doesn't crease up very much- I was able to blend AND layer pretty easily!#3. Delivery- was quick, package was tightly protected and I was able to use it for my livestream as soon as I popped it out of the package.#4. Product Packaging- Tube is thick and cap fitting is secure. Material is most-likely high quality plastic. It is durable and when dropped, did not crack on my tile. The tube comes in a fancy box with decent artwork. Good quality packaging accounts for a great deal of the finished product price.My only CON is that choosing a color is rather difficult. I got something a little too white. The pictures people posted helped though. I managed though.Conclusion: I believe a lot of care went into the development of these sticks. The materials and lengthy procedure for production accounts for a great deal of the cost in addition to good packaging.BASICALLY, you actually DO get what you pay for with this product! Oh & it covers very nicely! Looked great on camera. Thanks!

I don't have a whole lot of experience with "full-coverage" foundations but I had a better experience with this than I have with some "medium-coverage" foundations. It covers everything, but doesn't feel heavy or cakey, and if you blend it well enough with a damp sponge, you could have a very natural, skin-like finish. The wear is very dependable, and as with all make-up I did feel like it wore away through out my day, but was never patchy or obvious. I topped it with a finishing powder and a light spritz of rose water toner and did not touch up throughout the day.I got this stick in Light Beige, which was a little too light for me but it still worked.I will note that if you're purchasing from "Luscious Cosmetics US" you are purchasing directly from the manufacturer, I had an issue with my order and they were a DREAM to deal with. Take note though on the seller name as I noticed you do not always deal with the manufacturer on Amazon.

The color is lighter than shown. Coverage is ok, not perfect. Smell is very pleasant and goes on light. It does settle into pores, fine lines and creases so just like most foundations, this is nothing exceptional. It is not a full coverage, smoothing foundation, even with a good primer.I also found it makes me break out.

I ordered Pink Porcelain. It is not pink or porcelain. It is a yellow sort of orange color. I didn't plan on using it for everyday makeup, so with some white powder it may be fine...It is full coverage though, so if the color matches you, it's a nice foundation.Edit: I change my original review. The color is still off, and I added a drop of Revolution Pigment Pot Eye Primer to it, but oh honey, my skin looks plastic!!!!

Wow, this stuff is amazing. Covers so well, but does not look or feel like you have a lot on. This stick will last a long time too, because you don't need a lot to get the desired look. If you're just covering up dark or red spots, this product does the trick in no time and without using very much of it in the process. This is the reason it will last you a long time. I used a lot in October when I was working in a Halloween Haunt. I needed a base makeup that was super light and would stay on all day. I looked just as good (and scary) as I did when I first applied it. I highly recommend this product and have already purchased a different shade since this one.

Really like this foundation..for me the most important thing is that no animal suffered so I could look better. That said, this foundation goes on very smooth and has great coverage. I use a sponge with a cream highlighter to smooth it on over my face and the results are great! Lasts all day. I ordered the pink porcelain, it is perfect for my skin tone which has cool undertones. Love that it is small enough to carry in my make up bag. First time I have used a stick foundation, very happy with my purchase, would definitely order again! Going to check out their other products.

While I like the actual make up and coverage, the applicator had all of the make up stuck in the top and the twist up function doesn't work. I am using a brush and sponge to retrieve the make up from the inside of the top. For $32, this should not be broken or malfunctioning.

The media could not be loaded. First off I want to say I did try this product on and it looks beautiful and has a nice natural smell. I got the light porcelain and it paired beautifully with my skin. Unfortunately when I received the product, it was broken. I tried to twist the concealer and it ended up coming out of the tube itself. For the price I was pretty disappointed. May try it again at a later time, but unfortunately not impressed enough, especially for the price.
