I really love this nifty little gadget. Once I figured out which way round to place it I haven’t used any other tin opener since. You simply place the gadget on the top of the tin and (I think) a magnet latches on, then you press the big button (it’s on the top of the gadget) and it chugs its way round the can and when it’s finished the sound changes slightly and it rows back a fraction and then turns itself off. Simple, and the best part is that neither the lid nor the tin are left with a sharp edge and no jagged bits either. I bought it more than six weeks ago and the batteries are still working perfectly. These things are always a matter of opinion but I would recommend this for anyone but especially anyone whose dexterity isn’t that good. That’s me and I have no trouble using it and wish I’d seen it sooner.

This device was unable to open any cans because it was impossible to place the edge of the can between the cutter head and the gear of the can opener - there was no space whatsoever between the cutter head and the gear! Either this is a product design fault, or the device was faulty - in any case I decided to send this can opener back to Amazon and I bought another automatic can opener from a different company (which works brilliantly!). As much as I liked the idea of having a can opener with a rechargeable battery at a reasonable price (all other rechargeable can openers I have seen are considerably more expensive), I have now opted for a device with four AA batteries.

I had purchased a slightly cheaper tall mains powered black can opener which i was obliged to reurn.I'd had difficulty opening a standard size70 mm ? diameter Salmon tin with a manual tin opener that i can easily open other cans with.The tall mains powered article failed to open the tin after 5 attempts. I returned it and was attracted to this USB Chargeable small alternative.It arrived and worked well on Salmon tins although i had to push the go button 3 or 4 times.It can open a Salmon tin. It csn open any tin.Really pleased with it

Really great. It opens the tin simply by placing it on the top, with no shart edges. In fact it was so good at first I didn't think it was working.

Brought two tin openers and one of them is dodgy and hardly works as the other one works perfectly.

This item is very functional! It is compact,it does a very good job of taking the lids off!It saves spillage as it does the work for you and it keeps you from getting your hands cut trying to prise ofthe lids! All in all a very good. Product!
