Does it leak or splash water ?Sorry, I just had several bad experiences recently.

Well！I just got my first little fountain last week, and it works just fine and I didn't see any much splash water on my desk. Even after daily use for about one week the fountain sill going and pumping, I just wonder it will last for years or not, I known it  sounds nuts.And in my personally I wish to hear not noise but the sound of gurgling water when I need a nap, then one day I just figure out to put a magazine under that basin and it just works!
