we bought two
love them so much we bought two for our twins. It is very sturdy for the twins to stand on. We moved so it has been tested with two counter heights and has worked for both. The kids love being able to reach the counter and the sink and participate in everyday life. It folds pretty flat but you do need several inches of space to store it even folded. It cleans up very easily. I just wipe them down daily. The feet are made to slide easily so my little ones love pushing it around the kitchen to reach multiple activities or counters. I recently discovered that the back bar can either be placed loosely to allow for easy movement from the kids or can be locked in to secure them from falling. I will recommend these to anyone who wants to cook with their toddler.

Perfect!!
It is perfect!!! My three year old loves it and he is able to set it up and put it away all by himself! It is sturdy and light weight, easy to move around, perfect height and I love the safety rod it has which my older kid can do and undo all by himself if he wants to. I have nothing negative to say about this item because it is just what I was looking for and the price was right!! Definitely happy with my purchase!!

COMPACT Step Stool for Adults and Children
This stool is a staple around my house! Adults and kids both can use this! I think it is a great way for kids to be involved and then if you are short and need an extra step this is it.I was looking for a stool that was very compact but yet safe and sturdy and this is definitely the best bang for your buck! It’s very easy to open and close and there was no building necessary. It looks made for anywhere in your home or office.

Just what we needed
This is perfect for my 3 year old ! He loves helping in the kitchen and also uses it in the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash hands . I was worried about the safety bars but it is very safe and not a big issue . My son loves it and he can actually move it himself around the kitchen. It's lightweight and easy to move around/store unlike other toddler towers .

Missing 1 feature
Would essentially be a perfect stool if the feet were non-slip. We had to put the stool on a rubber backed rug for use in the kitchen. Otherwise it slid very easily. Purchased for our 1yr old who spent most of the day helping us cook for the week. Kept her entertained when she would otherwise have been bored with our task. Also, helped keep her in one spot long enough to eat! She otherwise liked to graze on the go. Selling feature is certainly the ability to fold it up for easy storage!

Very useful, well build.
I bought it for my grandson to see over the kitchen island and be able to "help" with cooking and baking. It works great, it is large enough to be comfortable. Steps are not too far so 2.5 year old can step in and out easily. Great buy. Easy to put away and it doesn't take much space.

Does what we need!
Very pleased but advise others that you need to push down hard on the back bar to get it to stay in place for little ones. We thought it just didn’t latch fully but discovered you have to actually hit top of bar pretty hard and it snaps into place. Very sturdy once it engaged.

so much better than the boon pivot!!
I got sucked into the hype of the Boon Pivot but was soooo annoyed by how bulky it is, how difficult it is to fold/unfold (we have a tiny city apartment I can't leave it out all the time) ... And at that price point, woof. I decided to return it and try this Cosco stepper instead and I was immediately in love!Pro's for us:- Folds up slim (one handed) so we can tuck it behind our trash can when not in use (currently, 90%+ of the time)- Easy (albeit, 2 handed) setup! Folds out in a snap. (For comparison, boon was easy to fold out but flipping the safety bar up/down was a pain.)- No assembly was required! (Boon requires a little assembly to attach the bottom step)- It magically fits under the lip of our kitchen counter top to get even closer to the sink, yet also fits just over the lip of our bathroom counter top to get to that sink so either counter height works for us. (Boon worked with the counters we have just not this *magically.*)- I like that the safety bar can be flipped out of the way, and there's little "cup" handles on the front too for more support getting in/out of it (for the toddler). (Boon Pivot cannot move the safety bar while the child is in the tower.)- It holds up to 225lbs so we can use it as a step stool for us too, which is amazing as in our small apartment we make use of shelving, etc. for storage and always have a step stool nearby. So it's a 2-for-1 or long-term product not just something we'll use for a few years while we have a toddler. (Boon Pivot only holds up to 50lbs I think though it's a much bulkier product that seemed sturdy so I am not sure why?)Cons for us (noticeable since I previously had a Pivot to compare to):- the bottom step isn't super deep and is positioned mostly underneath the main step, so it's a little difficult for our little walker at 15 months to climb up and down/out of this thing. She'll get the hang of it eventually. (For comparison, Boon Pivot bottom step has to be installed and it is a nice deep step)- The strap used to hold the safety bar in place when not in use is strapped to the inside and I just find that cumbersome? If I was going to use the bar often I'd probably just not strap it in for easier access. (The Boon Pivot bar can flip down when not in use, but 1. It requires 2 hands to push in stupid inside buttons to unlock it and 2. You can't flip the bar up if the kid is standing on the pivot. You have to do that first and then they climb up into it. So while the strap of the Cosco bar is a tad inconvenient, it's still significantly easier to use and just makes more sense to me compared to the Pivot)- it's tall and height is not adjustable! Hopefully if you plan to fold it you have a gap next to your fridge or somewhere to put it when not in use. (Boon pivot has two height settings I believe, though it's like double the size when folded compared to cosco.)Overall, this Cosco step stool/toddler tower is half the price of the Boon Pivot with seemingly double the amount of positive attributes. Highly recommend if you're tight on space and short on height for you and your kiddo!
