Best chrome/chameleon powders! Read!!
I've tried the gamut of nail powders available on Amazon. All hoping that the next one would be better than the last. Charming May was my first batch. No other ones have exceeded these powders yet. Too bad they don't make a laser holo one, because all the holos I've tried so far are horrible and can't find one like they use in a salon. Anyway, these Charming May powders are heavily pigmented, you only need a tiny tiny bit to get the effect or you can do multiple layers for an even deeper intense effect. All the little pots I got were pretty full, they will last a long time.Tips for those who aren't familiar with using these powders:You can use them over regular OR gel polish. But!! For the optimal adhesion, you must not wait till the color/top coat layer is fully dry. The key I've found is to pat the powder on while the layer is *almost* fully dry (for regular polish) or a 30 second gel cure. No more than 30 secs for gel!! Dab the powder on for coverage, then go back and press down and smooth it out and lightly burnish it with your finger tip. It becomes like metal, so shiny and smooth!! Wait till fully dry THEN apply your no wipe gel top coat and cure 60 secs x2 for a nice hard finish.Instructions say to put it on the top coat, then apply final top coat, but that isn't necessary. You can, but then you need 2 layers of top coat. I personally don't like thick gel nails, so I only put it on my base color then finish with the top coat.Note!! If using a regular non gel top coat, these powders WILL dull down a bit. So beware of that. These are meant to be used with gel top coats for the maximum effect.Done properly, these nail powders are just AMAZING.

Does not turn out as pictured
As you can see the polish does not last and the finish does not have a holographic appearance. I have a Pretty Diva powder that gives the effect I was looking for. Save your money on this brand. I used it with the Base and Top coat from Modelones. I'm not sure if that had something to do with it. I don't think I am going to bother with this powder. It takes quite a bit of time to do the manicure only to have the end result not at all what you wanted.

Not a good value when some are not even full
UPDATE:So I emailed the manufacturer and they wanted pictures of the ones that weren’t very form I sent that to them including one that had all of them to show the ones that were actually for what you’re only about two or three of them and they emailed me back stating that they try to overfill the .3 g or whatever for the boxes which doesn’t make any sense because there were only a few full so it doesn’t look like they’re even going to replace the ones that were almost empty so I wouldn’t waste your money on these try to buy somewhere else with her actually going to fill the containers. So Gorgeous!!!
In the photos above this product is only in my middle fingers along the edge to the top. It reflects amazing colors and adhered very easy to the tack of my shellac polish by picking some up with tweezers then gently “walking” it up the side of the nail which I did over the jar to be able to cleanly retain any that fell away in the process to minimize mess/waste. I then tapped them down gently and then applied my top coats. They worked better than I expected and will definitely buy them again when I run out!I am also trying to review “Charming May” chrome powder the 8 piece set but it keeps reopening this exiting review so I will just say here that the ring finger pictures is the green chrome over a berry plum shellac. I did not do it over my top coat I did it onto my 2nd layer of shellac and used very little of it too. I put it in first with the shadow brush narrow tip side then I rubbed it down with my finger and I think it is stunning! I followed it up with my shellac top coat and the mirror effect is beautiful and it compliments the purple hues depending on how the light hits it as well as the teal top of my ombré on the middle finger. I am very pleased with all of the Charming May products but I really wish that you got more product for the money but the results are worth it in my opinion.

An absurd price for such a small amount of product
I should have listened to the other reviews. This product claims to have .3g of product per color and I have a pot of a different Amazon brand in the bottom right of the picture that was sold as 1g per color. There is absolutely no way all of these were filled up correctly. One came with the seal already busted. Plus it's the colors that have the most shift are the emptiest pots :(I swatched each powder over black and white gel polish and these don't look great over white, they all seem to have a dingy gray base. I also have two swatches of the pretty diva powders (mermaid and silver) shown over black and white to show how my other powders do not have a gray base over white.Overall pretty disappointed in the colors and shifts not being as vibrant as in the pictures, I will only be able to use them over dark bases, the amount of product you receive is abysmal, and they are also listed as a pressed, solid powder??? If this set were only $10 I wouldn't have had such expectations. Do not recommend

Decent but quantity is small
These work really nicely. I've used them for nails and some crafting. The color shifting ones are really nice. Wish there was more of the powder though.
