Unbelievable! Value and playability!
I can’t believe this guitar is absolutely amazing for the price. First of all, the neck shape is very comfortable, not too thin. The rounded stainless steel fret ends feels really good, the feel of the neck alone I think is better than my American and Mexican strat, it feels like the EART guitars but much cheaper and the neck is not a compound radius. The paint job is good, neck joint has no gaps, the strings line up with the pickups. Mine is ready out of the box, it feels like it’s already been set up because the neck is super straight, no fret buzz, action is super low and properly intonated. The knobs and switches are tight, the pickups are properly height adjusted and sounds good. The tremolo arm is tight not wobbly when screwed in. The guitar is really resonant when you play it unplugged, so maybe the finish is not a very thick polyyester. I bought this because I want to try a mahogany strat. The package was left outside for 1 hour before I arrived so I was really scared that the guitar would crack, but the roasted maple neck is very durable and the molded styrofoam probably protected it. I just can’t believe the quality and setup, it really exceeded my expectations. After watching Bald shredder, I was lucky $40 dollar coupon was still there.

Incredible guitar!
Unbelievable guitar and value. This is not a “good guitar the money” but a good guitar straight up. The value is just another outstanding benefit. The pickups are definitely good but it may be the thing you upgrade at some point. The frets are incredible but could use a polish but not bad at all. This roasted maple neck feels as good as it looks! You’ll look around and think every other guitar without one is cheap haha My guitar arrived fully set up besides the fret polish. Even the bridge tuners had been adjusted to ensure good harmonics out of the box! Amazing quality and service from Censtar. This guitar is good enough for any collection. Don’t hesitate to buy one if you want a strat style guitar. Makes a great project guitar as well, since it’s so cost effective. I’m swapping the pickup guard and knobs for a customer look.

It's fine
First of all I love the look of the roasted maple neck. To let you all know you will need to set up the truss rod and the bridge. Pick up sound good, but they have a little too much mids for my taste. Overall good guitar for the price.

Solid but needs help.
This is a very good deal and value for the money. I was expecting to have to set it up to my liking but this was a bit of work. The frets were rounded nicely with only one proud fret, but were not polished at all. I did a full polish since I was changing the strings and leveling that fret anyway. The switch is a 3 way on mine... maybe they ran out of 2 way switches, but splitting the coils is very noisy on mine. The neck radius on mine is a weird in between 14-16". I love the Dinky style body and the the finish is great, not a really thick poly, no flaws or finish cracks at the neck joint, even has flush mounted back cover for the wiring. The tuners are iffy and have some slop. Funnily the strings were extra slinky 8-38, I have never played on these, it was strange because that and only 2 springs on the trem, I was bending a whole step higher, but it was interesting. To be clear I am not comparing this to any high dollar guitars I have, but rather to the Eart guitars I have purchased for under $300. I've bought 5 of them and they all arrived set up and intonated, the frets were like glass, and are "real stainless"... Meaning they are not ferrous and very hard, but the type of SS I cannot say. I can almost certainly say these are made in the same factory as Eart and few other brands sold on Amazon. They are cheaper because the QC and level of set-up and finishing detail are left out, and I get that. The price is a incredible for a center joined 2 piece mahogany body, a real roasted maple neck, and the trem is an almost identical clone of the "Gotoh 510T-FE1 with FST Block", I can not speak to the durability of the metals used but it seems solid. Pick-ups are always subjective, but I find them OK. I say buy one if you know how to set-up a guitar and do a little fret work. This is actually a fantastic mod platform if that is your goal. If not, it's still quite a guitar for the price. The frets will get smooth as you play. I actually don't see how they can be this cheap... well I do know, but people don't like to think about that stuff. I specced a similar neck out on Warmoth, it is $400 plus dollars. A 20" x 16" center joined slab of Non- roasted mahogany from Stew- Mac is $100. Even if you were to buy the parts from China it would still be way more than $200.Sorry that was long... Just buy one... even if you don't play it would be a great looking piece of art to hang on the wall. Me, I'm going to go crazy and throw on a Floyd I've got it the parts bin and some EMG's.

Nice guitar for the money.
The media could not be loaded. Guitar plays well and the pickups are good. YouTube reviews from earlier this year reference a microphonic aspect to these guitars but that does not seem to be the case for the more recentodels. Pickups sound great and don't react to tapping or yelling into them. This would have been 5 stars if the guitar didn't have what seems like slight damage to the finish from the factory. The seller addressed the damage and I am very happy with this guitar.
