Love the modern farmhouse look of this light. We put in short entry with high slanted ceiling. No, directions are not great and if you have to shorten the chain/wire, research online. Bulbs recommended are a good fit. Would look great over kitchen table, too. Watch what size you are ordering.

Crooked, not easy to adjust
Looks great, but the center is not symmetrical. The bulbs are crooked. They don't adjust well either. It could be made better. But it does look great from a short distance.
