Q: Do these pans have a heksher

There is no heksher on the label so it must be assumed it may not have been made in a kosher way. I have the 9x13 pans from this company and there is no heksher on the label. In grocery stores, there are aluminum pans with hekshers showing Rabbinical Supervision. If having a heksher is important to you, then you must pass on these pans and get pans from a major company in your supermarket.

Q: Should these be washed before use?

Not necessary, but I wash everything before using..That's just me.

Q: how long do you bake banana bread in these pans?

Banana bread and zucchini bread cook times are really all different due to the moisture content of your mix. I start at the low end of the time and use a tooth pick or even a butter knife. Stick it in the top and the bread is done when it comes out clean. You will find way more uses for these pans than banana bread and I like that if they don’t clean just recycle them.

Q: Anyone use these for water pan in an electric smoker? Any water leaks?

All I can say is they are thin and flimsy.
