No, you have to supply your own bucket. Also will not fit some buckets as they are all slightly different. Also if extremely hot or cold the bucket top diameter changes slightly. I found that if you take a hacksaw and put a few ( 4 to 8) 1/2 slits in top spaced around evenly it helps a lot.

Hi, yes it should. We believe by flowing clean water in/out of a bucket or cooler as well as using the Aerator (included) Shad should do just fine.
