Farmina pet foods are the Best Quality for the Money!
I would prefer the Farmin N&D Grain Free varieties. I was able to order these last year but alas only the doggie grain free varieties are available right now :(However, this is a great compromise. My normal dry foods are 100% Grain and Potato Free with low carbs. Typically I look for less than 20% The Farmina Grain Free DID contain potato, but it was fresh (ie mostly water) and the total carbohydrate content on that food was a fabulously low 15%!The Ancient Grains formulations use Spelt Wheat and Oats as binders. The ingredients are top notch, with this being made in Italy where GMO ingredients are banned, both in livestock feed, and for direct consumption. The meats are wild ranging such as wild boar and herring and cod, or free-ranging and pastured - chicken for example. The grains have a MUCH lower glycemic index than eg Corn or Rice or regular commercial wheat. You don't just get generic "Fish Oil" which can include rancid, throwaway catches, or "Fish Meal", another one star ingredient made from byproducts (fish guts) and throwaway catches.. no, you get Herring and Salmon Oil.. you get Fresh Herring and Dehydrated Herring.. note that the first ingredient is Deboned (Fresh) Chicken .. that is good, even though it will be 84% Water. They make up with Dehydrated Chicken ..this has the water gently sucked out of it at low tempeartures. It is VERY expensive but knocks the socks off the commoner "Chicken Meal" which includes all carcase contents and can vary tremendously in quality, as well as being cooked at a very high temperature, resulting in loss of nutrients and loss of digestibity..There are decent probiotics and the minerals are quality Proteinates, not the cheap, nasty, poorly absorbed and metabolised Chinese-manufactured Sulfates and Oxides!Dehydrated fruit and vegetables provide pytonutrients such as antioxidant bioflavonooids lutein and hespiridin. Green Tea Extract is a wonderful addition providing critical anti-ageing compounds, and the product even has added Turmeric!INGREDIENTSDeboned chicken, dehydrated chicken (source of glucosamine & chondroitin sulfate), whole spelt, whole oats, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), dehydrated egg product, herring (source of glucosamine & chondroitin sulfate), dehydrated herring (source of glucosamine & chondroitin sulfate), dried beet pulp, herring & salmon oil blend (preserved with mixed tocopherols), chicken protein concentrate, dried carrots, sun-cured alfalfa meal, chicory root extract, fructooligosaccharide, yeast extract (source of mannan-oligosaccharides), dehydrated pomegranate, dehydrated apple, dehydrated spinach, psyllium seed husk, dehydrated blackcurrant berry, dehydrated sweet orange, dehydrated blueberry, salt, brewers dried yeast, turmeric, vitamin A supplement, vitamin D3 supplement, vitamin E supplement, ascorbic acid, niacin, calcium pantothenate, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, thiamine mononitrate, biotin, folic acid, vitamin B12 supplement, choline chloride, beta-carotene, zinc proteinate, manganese proteinate, iron proteinate, copper proteinate, selenium yeast, DL-methionine, taurine, L-carnitine, aloe vera gel concentrate, green tea extract, rosemary extract.Highly recommended! Farmina foods are the ONLY kibble products that are recommended in Susan Thixton's Truth About Pet Food blog.. and she certainly knows her stuff!

Ottimo

If your looking for a brand that is healthy and will be eaten by your cats look no more
All 9 of my cats love this food. I have spent thousands trying to find a top food for my 9 rescues and this is it. It isn't the best smelling but that is in my opinion because it's such an enticing healthy food for your cats. They seem to love the smell and the food. It helps their coats feel extremely soft, lessens the piles of hairball, stops the allergies some of my cats had, and even started helping one of my cats with throid and asthma issues start to finally look healthier. This product is easily the best available out of all the top foods for my 9 because they actually love it and it actually shows great results.
