Wish I had found this replacement remote years ago. Been fighting with pushing all the control buttons on old remote after thousands of uses on very old fan that was only remotely controlled and not connected to a switch. Just need to make sure you have the numbers or remote they tell you to check before it is ordered. Worked like a charm. So glad I did

Wiring, performance and set up matches original parts. Easy to install and works as designed.

I looked up and new remote as my old one doesn't work anymore, and saw that it was compatible with my Hunter UC7848T, but it's not. This remote only has 4 switches where the UC7848T has 5.

This replacement ceiling fan control works like a champ on my old fan. Remember, that it willonly work on specific brands of fans, so check the numbers on the ad. Buttons are very easy touse and requires a single 9v battery; it will fit in the palm of your hand and comes with amounting bracket for the wall. I do need to install dimmable bulbs for the dimming feature to work.

No problems at all.

Unfortunately, it does not have a reverse fan option and the light button does not work. Works well for basic on and off with 3 speeds. Somewhat disappointed!
